In this contest you are asked to add wings to any non-winged animals, except humans. Feel free to make the animals with wings look photo realistic, or use paintings as sources.
Windows Vista pictures - Microsoft has finally started selling its long delayed Windows Vista operating system. However, you could hear Steve Jobs doing his best impression of Nelson Muntz, "Ha Ha!" Microsoft contends that Vista is such a huge improvement over previous computing platforms that users inevitably say "Wow" when they see it. Wow, I can compute betterer now. In this contest we ask you to photoshop anything related to the launch of Microsoft Windows Vista. Examples may include designing the Wow desktop of Windows Vista, or advertising poster for the "Wow" of Microsoft Vista.

In this contest let us pay tribute to the "Crocodile Hunter" by photoshopping Steve Irwin and wild animals in famous paintings. Your painting entry has to include both Steve Irwin and at least one wild animal to qualify for this contest. An animal has to be a wild animal (no domesticated animals - e.g. no cats, dogs, or cows) and may be present in a painting source picture, or can be added there entirely by you. Steve Irwin has to be "in good light" in the entries - it is a tribute contest and we are not looking for "bad humor" here.

sawing a woman in half is now performed on the streets of London.
It is much harder to perform magic next to the peering street crowd rather than on stage with complex mirror sets that hide the trick equipment from the audience. The trick of "sawing a woman in half" is said to go back to the ancient Egypt where magicians did it to the amuzement of the pharaohs and the elite.
The first publicly recorded performance of this trick was done by British magician P.T. Selbit in 1921.
Saw people or objects in two or more pieces in any way you like. Your "victims" can be participating in magic tricks, or just be sawed for other purposes. Please use the sources are not already sawed / sliced. You are welcome to use celebrities, politicians, characters from masterpieces, or any animals and objects you may think of. Make sure your entries are amazing but not too graphic - they should not be shocking to the audience or we will have to disqualify them.

American actor Alec Baldwin celebrated his 50th birthday this Thursday. Baldwin comes from the family of actors and is the oldest and the most famous of the Baldwin brothers. Some of Alec's recent notable performances include the boxoffice hits "The Aviator" and "The Departed". Baldwin married Kim Basinger in 1993, and they were considered one of the best Hollywood couples. Sadly this marriage ended in 2002, and currently Baldwin is writing a book about his personal life.

Upstate New York towns near the great lakes that border the U.S. and Canada are under historic snowfall of over 11 feet. Weather people say the snow is coming from Canada. Canadians say that they never get this much snow in a week, as they normally get this much in a day.
To mark this snowfall, you are asked to "winterize" any famous paintings by adding snow to them and adding warm winter clothes to the characters in the paintings. Adding snow is a must, adding winter clothes is optional.
John McCain Wins GOP Nomination pictures -
After Republican presidential candidate John McCain successfully secured his GOP nomination,
President George W. Bush gave his endorsement to McCain. Meeting with McCain and his wife at the White House, Bush junior said that McCain is a true Republican and would make a great country leader and commander-in-chief. At the same time many analysts think that blessings from Bush would actually drop McCain's ratings, since Bush has the lowest support ratings of all times, and associating with Bush is not the best thing at the moment.
Photoshop anything related to John McCain winning the GOP nomination, his future possible presidency, and running mate. The Republicans have been to blame for everything from the economy to the war over the past 8 years by the Democrats. Well, now they have their chance to change all of this. I expect them to put an end to poverty, hunger, war, unemployment, global warming and high gas prices by January 1st. I have no reason not to believe this either. I mean, every 5 or 10 minutes for the past couple months I have been receiving recorded phone messages from the candidates promising these very things if I would only vote for them.

Today is the 110th birthday of Maurtis Cornelis Escher - one of the most
famous and recognizable artists in history. Escher's unique vision of
the world combined art, patterns, and mathematics to create some of
the physically impossible yet realistically looking illustrations,
like "Waterfall" and "Ascending and Descending". Quite like some of
his famous predecessors, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, Escher
was a left handed artist. In addition to many famous drawings which,
Escher also illustrated books, designed tapestries, and even was hired
by the Dutch government to design new Dutch money in the 50s (the
banknotes were not approved for being too "twisted"). The total
count of Escher's works during his lifetime is over 2000.
