Violin pictures -
German violin maker Stefan-Peter Greiner apparently makes the violins that top the creations of the Italian masters like Stradivari and Guarneri. Greiner violins are used by the best musicians in the word, and take over two years to craft. The specially selected wood for a violin is stored for 15 years before being carved into pieces. When the instrument is assembled, it is hung in the sun for over a year. The process is similar to that by Italian masters of 300 years ago. While Greiner's violins are made in small numbers and sold for about $33,000, the biggest world manufacturer of violins is China.
Photoshop violins any way you like - change their size, shape, redesign them from other materials, or give them paint jobs. In other words, show the rejected violin creations of Stradivari, if he had played with photoshop these days.

Violin Fish pictures - Somber notes will emanate from it as it plays Requiem for the Fish. Original violin source courtesy of the Instrument Bank of the Canada Council for the Arts. Photo by Geo. Heinl & Co. Toronto. / Very fun image. Great sense of humor. I like the light on the front. / There's something fishy about this violin. Or... there's something violinish about this fish. Either way it's a genius friggin entry, and I love it. Small details all worked out delicately even reflecting the change in vertical perspective. / ... great work on the body especially. The gills and eye cutouts are tops.
Violin Cricket pictures - After Geppetto made Pinocchio, he crafted what Jiminy had always wanted. "When you wish upon a star, Makes no difference who you are, Anything your heart desires, Will come to you..." / simply perfect. concept, execution, sharpness ... a 10 plus / Very very good. Great idea executed almost perfectly. I would actually eliminate the hat, when you did such a good job with the insect, I think less is more. Definitely a 10 either way, GJ. / I like the hat actually as it goes in harmony with the black parts of the violin and creates that fairy tale image so realistically. One minor critique is that the violin part is not shiny / glossy as the rest of the hopper is. Still, the whole thing is amazing, and I am adding this to my favorites. / Fixed the violin contrast a little, to blend it in better. The image is actually a cricket too, called the Tettigonia viridissima Linnaeus (Great Green Bush Cricket). / nice photo-editing. but i agree with newsy lit' critique. still Great Job.
Violinist Sculpture pictures - M A E S T R O . please see fullimage. / Very colorful and visually impressive, Good show.
Bug Violin pictures - / Impressive work on mixing the bug with the violin and matching their texture.
Eggplant Violinist pictures - . / awsome, i just would to see his nose in same color, outside of that one of the best. / excellent entry, nice color match with the eggplant and the guy, there is only one thing that bugs me, and thats the nose, but overall excellent entry. / I disagree about the nose. I like the way you did it. It matches the fingernails and gives it definition and personality that would otherwise be lost. Excellent job. / Eggplant violinist looks good. There are good points and bad points about the nose. The way it stands now, it matches the fingernails and adds some light spot eggplants often have.the bad points are that it does not match the rest of the face (lips and ears) and looks light colored only from one side.
Mafia Violin pictures - "You can get more with a nice word and a gun than you can with a nice word." ~ Al Capone Plays only one type of song, "Ratta-tat-tat". / One of my favorites in this contest and the quote by Al Capone is a nice touch.
