Russia voted for its next president. Exit polls showed the Putin's successor, Dmitry Medvedev, as an absolute leader and undisputed next Russian president, who will win with up to 70% of the votes. By Russian constitution Putin could not serve more than two consecutive terms, so on December 10, 2007, Putin announced Medvedev as his successor. The plan is that Putin will serve as a Russian prime minister this term, and will come back to presidency next (year 2012) elections, when Medvedev will not run in order to clear way for Putin again. Translated from Russian, "Medvedev" means "son of a bear".

trying pictures - Trying. / Good try... but a little too greenish - and the flower colours are not uniform. Try cropping the centre image - and colorize for each bunch of flowers - make sure to clarify and sharpen before merging. This is a real challenge to pull off believably so don't lose heart. / Is difficult, no. And TIME-consuming. (I only hope I have enough time to enter my own attempt ....) Looks good ... / I don't think the colors stand out enough. The brown on the bricks is really good. Corn stalks need more brown/tan though. / Good try. Colorizing is pretty difficult. I like it though, the colors make it look surreal. ~ Volk / I agree with Keb re the colours, and good advice from Laff. Very nice effort / Excellent attempt. Your technique is beautiful, just your colors are a bit too sepia toned and muted.
