Lord of the rings tree pictures - aaaah. / Superb idea. But the eyes & mouth look too light to match the existing darkness around him. Try darkening them just a touch. / The eyeholes and the top of the mouth opening don't have the same roundness on their edges as the original opening does. Try copying some of the root edges, etc. onto the bark to give it roundness.
