Tennis US Open pictures - For the moment I checked outside my window to see if hell froze over, when I've read that US Open officials finally confessed that tennis is all about showbiz and money to them. The idea is as old as the world - you take some game people like, attract the world's best players with tons of cash, and make even more cash from tickets and advertisements. The official total payout (men's and women's play) for the US Open is 18.5 million dollars. That's payout, folks, the tiny part of the US Open profits that goes to players. And in gratitude for making all this cash, the US Open boss usually slaps a winner's ass and says: "Good job earning me enough money to buy half of Korea. See you next time!" And the winner would usually sigh and walk away in shame because he can't afford half of Korea, and can only buy 12 Ferraris, 8 mansions in California, and 1 tiny island in the Pacific Ocean. Needless to say, the guy feels like a total loser. And yet, he'll come back to play again and again because he's got bills to pay and gotta make ends meet.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop one of the following:
1) Design new tennis equipment using items / materials that don't belong to tennis. You may also create advertisements based on using commercial products that normally don't belong to tennis.
2) Show alternative / unusual places where tennis can be played.
3) Photoshop works of art to include a tennis theme in them.
4) Show politicians / celebrities playing tennis poorly.

Venus de Tennis pictures - Venus de Milo restored to her full glory with the arms of Venus Williams. Unbeatable. / i like your entries, great arms. can i request, can you wear her a shoes. im just wondering how it look like. / It's fantasticly done, My only critique is - her upper hand seems a bit short for her / I see what NM means - but maybe it's just perspective. And in my humble opinion, shoes would make her look silly, instead of the goddess that she is. / great image, the hands could use a little more work, but grea image / Brilliant image, love it. This must have taken a lot of work.
Table Tennis pictures - You can imagine a departure of Tennis of you square in a table of "table tennis"...original / Very smart. I bet it's as hard as it looks to play this table tennis

The freakazoid is back Creative tennis ball work here - shadows from the racket on the ball and reflection from the tennis ball really sell this image / The longer I look, the better it gets. Nice one / yes newsy.... may be its made by the hyglo..... but i don't know who make this.... but its really superb work.. mainly on the reflection / Wonderful. This could be a great business idea for someone out there. / Hygglo looks as if he has a bad headache. This looks like his work. Our resident genius.
Last Tennis Samurai pictures - / great work, like the idea, sadly they cant hurt each other / Absolutely Love It. I don't even like tennis or the very unstable TC.
Tennis Yoda pictures - he may look small, but watch those backhands. (and the shiny bat is actually a lightracket, similar to a lightsaber) source / "On the *.#% LINE it WASN'T. *.#% BLIND are you." / the lightsabre/racket combo is truly inspired. / those shadows more directly under yoda were part of the source, cast by something off screen, thats what it looks like when you look at the source / after this game Yoda had tennis elbow and tennis balls
Astro tennis pictures - / After such tournaments, astronomers at Earth found lots of new unidentified yellow spherical objects circling the Earth / Could you 'warp' the racquets' net reflection just a bit. It would make it more realistic looking. Otherwise it's super. Newsy. / nice idean perhaps the shadow from teh racket should have less of a like look and be distorted by the glass / When the moon hits your eye Like a big serving of pie That's LOVE.
