Taxed! pictures -
Tax Day - April 15 - is almost here. The tax filing deadline used to be March 1 in 1913, until it was changed to March 15 in 1918 and then to April 15 in 1955. Today, Tax Day remains April 15, unless it falls on a weekend or national holiday - then the filing deadline is moved to the next business day.
Let us imagine what would happen if taxes were not taken in money, but instead were taken in fractions of taxed property. In this case IRS would simply cut off and take away part of your house, part of your car, part of your computer, etc. In this contest you are to photoshop any taxed objects with parts cut off and taken away from them. Some examples are: half a house, half a car, two-thirds of a dog, half a painting, etc.
Tax pictures - I think we all would like to see changes in the tax system... and now, here's your chance to help make those changes! Using forms from the IRS, or any other tax collection tools (cash registers, software, etc), make changes that you would like to see happen.

Tax Machine pictures - The Tax Eliminator. / This is hypnotic. I noticed the little blue square in the corner, and I found myself just staring at it. Maybe it's the particular color... I don't know. But I just keep gazing at it, with my mind going blank. This is some sort of mind control designed to make us vote higher....

Speed Skating Tax pictures - / Edit. I haven't done an edit, can you explain. / Oops, I somehow thought that in the first version the reflection was still from the skates. Need more morning coffee. Horse Races Tax pictures - / At least they got the right end of the horse...But will the refund be in roadapples. Great idea. / Creative, clean work. Congratulations on the silver, maroon.
Turbo Tax pictures - Enron bought a few thousand copies. / ha ha. "We make money the old fashioned way, we earrrrrn it." / ol. the "Photoshop" inscription on the dollar emblem is INCREDIBLE. Very funny stuff. / Hmm, I see I got more 2s and 3s. What did the Republicans find so offensive this time. Was it just the Enron reference. (you know, that "Kenny Boy" Lay thing).

It would be better if you could smudge or blur the falling money just a bit. / There is a bit of a halo around his feet, it is a bit distracting and the background is a bit bland. I agree that the money could use some bluring too. / The money on its way down looks very different than the money in the hat / Literally "shaking that ass"
