Same street, rainy day pictures - I learned a lot by doing this one. I never tried to create rain before, so this was fun. I was inspired by a previous contest to create snowy art. Maybe next time I'll do snow... hmm... Source files: car, sky (hit return at address line, to view sky image, it's protected from cross-linking) and umbrella... Oh. and rain (on the lense). The other rain was made by noise and motion blurring, with select masking. Let me know if this helps you at all with your chopping Or, if you have any suggestions for me, please comment. Thanks. / This is a great entry. Very realistic. Only critique: for me the reflection on the hood (house on original car pic) seems wrong... / ZERS. Well Done. I actually like the reflection on the hood. Gives the entry more 'reality'. Because we can't actually see the tops of the buildings there on the right, who knows what the actual top looks like. / good. continue that attitude in doing artwork. and you have a long way to go here. goodluck nextime. / As we can't see what is to the right of the car, the inclusion of the reflection on the hood of the car (from your source image) is fine. Your attention to detail is very good. The rain on the camera lense, the vehicle lights on the truck, the street lamp, and the added umbrella for the pedestrian make this a well executed CHOP. Caillebotte / Disney Paris Street pictures - You just can't find any Disney castle pics without people in them, can you. Source 1 Source 2 / this is so cool and nicelly integrated / Excellent job - captures the mood precisely. Well done you. / Nicely done - Only critic is the umbrella edges are not smooth enough and the Disney building is real... i.e rest of the picture is painting.... / Nice composition and idea. Only other thing u missed is a bit of railing from castle pic, between man's umbrell and head. / I like this picture...I wouldn't have guess it was altered. Until I saw the Disney castle..it does not quite match with the other buildings. But I'll have to give a good vote for the overall effort.
