As we are moving the site to the new platform, we are asking you to host your FN avatars in your FN media folders, rather than loading them from any third party sites. (There are several potential issues with external avatar hosting under the new system.) Vast majority of the FN users use their FN media folders for avatar hosting, so they won't have to change anything avatar-wise.
But some of you may notice that your avatar changed to a default avatar - in this case it means your avatar was hosted on a third party site, and we ask you to upload it to your FN folder instead.

Okie-doki. Mine is member media based. I'm thinking about making a new avatar. I love that one I have always used but it might be time for a change. I guess a giant boobie with a nip that buzzes around in figure 8s is out of the question, huh...?

Hi Newsy. Would you like to give some instructions of how to do this for those of us who are basically IT illiterate? I have no idea what an FN media folder is or where to find it.

The one you have now is great! Did you make it yourself? Not sure if the new one you described would beat the old one

Hey, MiniS, I did check your avatar and it's all good - hosted in your FN media folder. You must have done it right, so I am not sure you need help, but here it is anyhow: The quickest way to get to avatar setup page is to go to the FN home page, and click on your avatar on the top of the menu. This will take you here: Profile preferences.
If you want to setup your avatar there or change the old one, you should click on the "upload avatar" link there. This will take you to your media folder where you can upload your new avatar and copy its URL (one you upload you will see it in your files there and the button "COPY URL") next to it.
Once you copy the avatar URL, you need to paste it into an Avatar URL on your profile preferences page.
Click the "Submit changes" button and you are done!

You mean I did it right without even realising that I was doing it right!
Thanks Newsy.
