Space Pictures

Spaceship pictures - With the number of private organizations trying to design home-made spaceship, let us add satire to this by showing what these home-made spacecrafts may look like (e.g. rocket made out of cheese with astronaut mouse, etc.) Designing a goofy name for this spaceship is encouraged.
MySpace pictures - To reflect MySpace's trend to take over the world, photoshop one of the following: 1) Redesign MySpace logo 2) Redesign Logos of other companies (e.g. Google, Yahoo, Ford) which MySpace may or may not take over 3) Change products / objects / people / paintings / animals to promote MySpace
Space Art pictures - Scientific community around the world celebrates 50 years in space. Fifty years ago Russians launched the first satellite into space, starting the space era and the space race against the United States. The first Russian satellite was named Sputnik, which emerged within the Cold War atmosphere and meant as an intermediary step to taking a military missile into space, according to the Sputnik designer Boris Chertok. To celebrate 50 years in space, take compositions from paintings (drawings or sketches allowed too) and make them happen in space surroundings or on other planets. Some examples are: Mona Lisa posing on the moon landscape, or American Gothic happening on Mars.
Space pictures - So, the Canadians want to get into the rocket business. Time for us to create scenes that display how the Canadians will impact space missions. Design Canadian rocket, or show them in space. Grab a Molson Golden, load up Photoshop and start creating those missions you hosers.
Women in Space pictures - I don't want to alarm you but it seems they have found one woman on earth who agreed to go on for 10 days wearing the same outfit, with no shopping, no beauty saloons, and no other women to chat with. "Anousheh Ansari from Dallas will become the first woman space tourist this month. She will join astronauts in the Russian capsule Soyuz launch (scheduled for Sept. 18) and will spend 10 days at an international space station before returning to Earth with its current crew. The woman paid over $20 million for this trip." Well, here we are - women tourists in space. It won't be long before women space tourists will change the face of space travel. Pink space shuttles will be a mess packed with elegant astronaut suits (or should I say dresses), matching pairs of shoes, and gazillions of chocolate bars, perfume, and make-up items. The International Space Station will look like a spa, with attached department stores. Will there still be room left for science, you ask? Of course. Space research topics will include: "Does this space suit make my butt look fat?", "How to eat 100 astro chocolate bars and not gain weight", and "Is there life on Snickers?" In this contest you are asked to show how women would rule the space exploration and tourism - womanize astronaut clothes & accesories, spaceships, equipment, etc.
Space Cars pictures - NASA is launching its new spacecraft Dawn this Wednesday. Because the spacecraft is relatively compact, light, and needs only a small amount of fuel, NASA calls it the "Prius of space". Dawn is the first spacecraft that will travel to one celestial body (asteroid Vesta), study it, and then fly to another celestial body (the dwarf planet Ceres) for further research - the whole trip will take about seven years. Latest technology advances will soon allow NASA to make spacecrafts the size of cars which also use little fuel. Design cars suitable for space missions, or turn spacecrafts into cars. Your "vehicle" can be shown in space, on the planets, or on earth (e.g. "space cars" being used in Formula 1 races.)
Fruits, Vegetables in Space? pictures - [ Chinese have launched their first "breeding" satellite, with the sole mission to carry seeds of vegetables, fruits and other plants into space, expose them to cosmic radiation and micro-gravity in hopes they mutate into better breeds which can be cultivated on earth upon return. ]I know that every fifth person on earth is Chinese, so they are the experts when it comes to breeding and cultivation. But launching a bag of seeds into space in hopes they mutate into something better is like sending Mel Gibson in space and naively hoping he'll come back sober. Or launching Paris Hilton into space in hopes she'll bring back new strains of STDs for scientific research. OK the last one may actually be pretty plausible provided that there's at least some "matable" life on other planets. Still, the Earth could be a safer place if Paris were 'boldly staying where no one has stayed before'. In this contest you are asked to photoshop one of the following: 1) Show how gardening and cultivating (fruits, vegetables, or other plants) will happen in space (on planets, moons or in free space). Including (or not) astronauts is up to you. 2) Spacecrafts made (in part of full) of fruits or vegetables 3) Planets or sun made of fruits or vegetables
Space Suits pictures - NASA has designed new space suits to be used by astronauts on the moon mission. New suits are both low-maintenance and high-tech - astronauts can go on without taking bathroom breaks when they get high. In this contest you are asked to show how the new space suits designed by NASA, any other organization, company, or person. Feel free to give them special brand and change spacesuit dimensions (for fat people, short and even for animals).
Space tourism pictures - It's time to commercialize space - show how space tourism may (or may not) evolve, and what companies would be the pioneers to commercialize space.
Celebrities in Space pictures - Who would you like to see famous people go into space? Create images of any well-known faces - celebrities, politicians - preparing or working in some sort of space function.
Christmas in Space pictures - Seven astronauts on board of the space shuttle Discovery are coming home for Christmas, while the International Space Station currently houses two men and a woman who will spend all of Christmas in space. Christmas in space is weird. You are stuck in a closed space with electronics, no Santa, no Christmas tree, and no gravity. In other words, the perfect geek Christmas. In this contest you are asked to photoshop Christmas in space any way you like. E.g. dress up astronauts, decorate shuttle & International Space Station, put the Christmas tree on the moon, etc.
Space Tourism pictures - Create images of how you see tourism impacting space travel and other space items. Create images of what we might see on the moon or in space (people, places or things)... What companies will join the space program and how might other products adapt to the space travel industry? Your imagination is your only limitation.
Space Tourism images - Now that Virgin has stepped forward with a plan to create a commercialized space tourism program, other companies will surely follow. Create images showing the impact of commercialism and tourism on the space industry.
Golf in Space pictures - [ Russian Central Space Agency was paid an undisclosed sum of money by the Canadian golf equipment company Element 21 to make the first ever space golf shot. The shot was made in open space on the International Space Station, and was aired on TV. After long preparations Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin finally struck the ball ... and mishit it. It was what golfers call a shank - that awful moment when you hit the ball with the heel of the club and it goes off in some unpredictable direction. The ball will now travel for more than three years, or 460 million miles before falling into Earth's atmosphere. ] It's not every day you get paid an undisclosed sum of money for a mishit golf shot. First, you gotta be Russian, second, you gotta be in space, and third you gotta have balls to play. Which seems like discrimination to me - what, women can't apply? In this contest you are asked to photoshop astronauts playing golf in space: open space, moon, other planets, International Space Station, etc.
Drinks in Space pictures - NASA vowed to follow-up a serious investigation on the alleged alcohol abuse by its astronauts. The free access to alcohol drinks by the NASA astronaut crew lead to flight safety concerns, after several reports of alcohol intoxication on the pre-flight training camp, that astronauts were not even suited to fly. Photoshop alcoholic drinks in space one way or another - astronauts having a party, drink bottles merged with spacecrafts, shuttle promoting alcoholic drinks, bars on the Moon, etc.
Space pictures - Photoshop what these ads will look like and what other space items can be used for advertising purposes. Show a shot from space, or from planet Earth.
International Space Station pictures - Please view full-sized image. / I like this a lot. This "did you mean" line really sells the image too
Space Christmas pictures - He checks every light before it goes on the tree. Santa's work is never done. / Very nice. The background needs improvement, otherwise perfect. / Love the edited version. / Nice job with the reflection in the helmet / awsome job, i love almost everything, lights, tree, extras... just great. Maybe a lil un-obious Santa, more dark or transparency would work well, but is still awsome. / (my critique is simple, i think you need to show some reflection of xmas lights on astronauts suit and his sorrounding, because it's a dark place there). but still a good job.
Space Tampon pictures - No man, in his right mind, would be caught dead on this space station. Please View Full Before Voting, Details are Much Cleaner. / great awsome idea and execution here, an entry out of this world / Excellent entry. Hopefully it has plenty of chocolate on board. / Prince Charles would love a ride on this / You're blindly going where no woman has gone before... / "Mission Control...the good news is, she's horny as a goat. The bad news is...we're out of chocolate. Request emergency launch of chocolate resupply ship."
Spacesuit pictures - / This is wonderful. Where's Pluto. / Thanks Midian. Pluto's sulking cuz he's no longer considered a planet. By the way....view in full is out of this world. / Very fun idea. and well done to boot. Just goes to show...it's a small world after all..... / funny idea but ear mouse and hand look flat. / Beautiful work. Caption: When mouse gets high... / Congrats. I can see a lot of fine work went into that image.
Last Space Supper pictures - Last Supper Please view in full and check out the source image. / I always wondered what Jesus was looking up and pointing at. / Decent work, one of my favorites in the contest.
My Space pictures - Start them early. Start them now. Please full view. / There are a lot of nice details on this image and it's very nicely done. Now that's what I'm talkin' bout. Yer pal, Keb / Very nice entry. Everything you added is blended nicely right into the picture. Good job. / Smooth one - only thing I'd consider would be to sharpen up the logo and sub-title in the upper right corner. / Cool, I like this one. Nice addition of the Mountain Dew. / we find the master work here..... may be i guss who is this...... after the competetion i will tell...
Space pictures -
My Space Yahoo Google pictures - Because MySpace '0wns' Yahoo & Google / Brilliant Yahoo-Myspace-Google logo merge work
Chinese Populate the Space pictures - / New Broadway Musical: "The Chinese in Space"
Canadian Space Shuttle pictures - Canadian Space Shuttle / Very, very cool. Although it looks a little like they clipped the wings on something Batman was flying. / The new version is even cooler. Sweet job
