Celebrity Smileys pictures -
A colon followed by a hyphen and a parenthesis - a horizontal smiley face turned 25 on Wednesday. Twenty five years ago professor Scott E. Fahlman from Carnegie Mellon University was the first person to use the three keystrokes - colon, hyphen and parenthesis - to form a text version of a smile in a computer message. To celebrate this anniversary, Fahlman and his colleagues, together with Yahoo Inc. have established The Smiley Award for student competitions in person-to person communications.

Make smileys from the faces of celebrities, politicians, or any famous characters (from paintings, etc) by tilting their heads horizontally and making them smile similar to how it's done in this image. It's up to you whether you want to keep a nose on your victim's faces, or whether you wish to make any variation of smileys - e.g. winking smileys, :-|, :-/, etc. Play with celebrity faces to make the smiley you want, just remember that they have to be horizontally tilted as it is done in this entry.

Elton John Smiley pictures - / This is a great image to work with. You will need to adjust the colour curves, hue/saturation a bit more to match the existing skin tones and do a bit more blending on the left, right and top of the image. The glasses are a nice touch but watch the existing shadow at the top as it is very straight-edged on his face. Might want to blend the edge of this a little. Try to add a bit of depth to the black frame of the glasses by varying the colour, especially where it bends to wrap around his face. / Top shelf work here - looks ptofessional. / Congrats Luciano I like the way you did his glasses.

Smile pictures - / The neck seems human. The length of the neck. / You will notice that the artist has captured the quintessential female fashion model pose - the chimp has her tongue firmly braced against her upper teeth. Quite reminiscent of Britney in her prime or for that matter, Lyle Lovett's former wife whose name I can't remember. This is counterpointed by everything below the neck where we are reminded of Ethel Merman. The strength of the composition therefore lies in the artist taunting the viewer with a kind of fleeting sensuality juxtaposed with a sense of utter revulsion. / Verry nice, although the face is a wee bit sharper than the rest of the painting tone. / Length of neck is OK, it is a great entry.
