He should be kicking some of them up as he runs through them.
Slowing down pictures - / In my opion the Seagull is too bright and it also needs some shadows (specially by the feet) / this is a nice idea, but maybe the seagull are oversized, a lil more small would make this entry so so realistic. Also it need some seagull's shadow over the turtle's shell. / You said no critique so I won't. But the apprentice contest is mainly a learning forum, and you have no cause to be shy. / The seagull is a bit too large, and too bright. A bit of shadow would help too. Also his feet should follow the contour of the turtle's shell.
