Saint Smeagol funny pictures - Original / I like this idea a lot, but there seems to be a problem in the body mid-section. / He's wearing clothes . . . da Vinci's work, not mine. If you look at it the darkened area has very clean sharp lines, and more telling does not fit at all under the arm. For those who don't like it, at least it may be comforting to know that everybody gets better with practice. / Yes, I looked that up as well. That offending dark layer is the undercoating for the ol' saints hide. Gads, Smeagols mug was an improvement, Jerry was one ugly character. As I said wasn't criticizing your work which is excellent, but just knew something was amiss in that main painting...unfinished qualifies as amiss, I think. / We're lucky to still have the original - Originally in the Vatican collection it passed into the hands of Angelica Kaufmann. Supposedly it was then mislaid and someone cut it into two pieces.
