Thanks. / I appreciate time you spent on this chop, but I don't like "originality"... you copied Mark Monciardini's work for one of "Photoshop Top Secret DVD" tutorials... as I said, nice effort and patience / So 'ivosevicv' are you saying that any skills/techniques learnt though a tutorial cannot be applied to your own composition., I think its a good job. / ivosevicv - I did run through the tutorial on the Photoshop Top Secret DVD, but I've also embellished the technique, using different stock and layer sequuences, and finishing touches. The composition is also different. If I was to produce work using methods I hadn't learnt elsewhere, you'd be getting just MS-Paint entries I am afraid. / Everyone should use tutorials to help develop their chopping skills and enter often to show others you can walk the talk / thanks for all of the kind words. Still getting hammered in the rankings. / You did a great job following the tutorial, my only critique is the big pieces don't have any texture and are too computer generated, but overall Great Job.... / Congrats Shark. It's just originality of idea that bothers me... congrats anyway. / the disintegrating into face thing is a bit of an art cliche though. Mark Monciardini didn't invent it, he just appropriated it, and I have done the same. / ...although he done it in educational purposes no hard feelings man, i like the way you work, i just said i (so that is just my opinion) would like your work more if it is more original...

Pirate Memento pictures - / This is awsome, but i'm not sure if this are aceptable because rules siad just that place the Seagull into other place, i'm not sure about chop it as u wish. Execution here is awsome, very realistic. Anyway i will wait till submition process will over, so place admins let me know if this is ok. / I say keep it in for sheer audacious creativity. / I like it. The concept is certainly creative, and the execution keeps up with it. You bended seagull's body to how it should bend inside the can, and you've done pretty darn job doing it making it look realistic.My only critique - perhaps edit your entry, and play around with light and shadows to give the can move volume look (it looks a bit flat now). / Maybe the glass should look thicker on the sides. / Although you put the seagull in another photo, it doesn't show off your masking skills. It also looks like you have light coming from more than one direction. The tail feathers are front-lit but the jar is back-lit. / Pickled seagull huh. Love the creativity here.. but am not sure it's within the suggestions. Aside from that... awesome job on the whole concept. Well done. / It is a great "thinking outside the envelope" idea. I agree that glass sides look too thin. Seems to me too that more contrast would improve the bird.
