Same street, rainy day pictures - I learned a lot by doing this one. I never tried to create rain before, so this was fun. I was inspired by a previous contest to create snowy art. Maybe next time I'll do snow... hmm... Source files: car, sky (hit return at address line, to view sky image, it's protected from cross-linking) and umbrella... Oh. and rain (on the lense). The other rain was made by noise and motion blurring, with select masking. Let me know if this helps you at all with your chopping Or, if you have any suggestions for me, please comment. Thanks. / This is a great entry. Very realistic. Only critique: for me the reflection on the hood (house on original car pic) seems wrong... / ZERS. Well Done. I actually like the reflection on the hood. Gives the entry more 'reality'. Your attention to detail is very good. The rain on the camera lense, the vehicle lights on the truck, the street lamp, and the added umbrella for the pedestrian make this a well executed CHOP. Rain pictures - Source Images / You can't help but to feel sorry for the guy / Good entry, but I would increase the contrast on the figure and surrounding area. / Good theme and composition. I would increase the blacks (selective color) and decrease the blues and cyans of his suit (hue/ saturation). I think you went a little overboard with increasing the contrast of Spidey in that he is reflecting too much light now.
Rainbow pictures - Dorothy knows the secret of zero g's. / Top notch work. But in the absense of gravity her hair and skirt would be floating, not pulled down. / That's the beauty of having ruby slippers. No more bad hair days. / Love this. Grand thinking and play on words. Well done. (Love the comment about the bad hair days. )
Brain Food pictures - Full view ensures maximum brainy goodness... and an empty tummy for a day or so / Great job, it makes me feel hungry. (which I'm slightly concerned about) / Ew Yuck. Nice pic though i never wanna eat cherry or wuteva pie now. ewww.
Drinking Shrinks Your Brain pictures - Ted Kennedy, Nick Nolte and Jason Priestley take their shrunken brains for a night out ... by public transit, of course. / I can't help it - this is absolutely brilliant. / Fark turned Nolte's mugshot into a cliche, you turned it cool again. Nice work, I love it. / Turtle, turtle. The turtle club, Good Work. / This is really nice. I would try tilting the heads back a little on Teddy and Jason for realism, but other than that I laughed out loud. / Thats just hilarious Nice work on the collars
Brain Surgery pictures - 100% Rubber For Brain Surgery / OW. good realism... the ball is a tad crisp, but great execution (pun intended.) / Prior to surgery, he was in critical condition, but now he has a sporting chance. / Getting a baseball in place of a brain might be an improvement for some. .. Great job. / well done, kind eak. but well done, one of my best votes / Baseball is on the brains of so many folks. Funny stuff.
