Katie Couric Photoshopped pictures - It seems like when it comes to presenting news the word "photoshop" and the word "media" became petty much as inseparable as Paris Hilton and STDs. Just this month we caught Reuters doing the dumbass photoshop work even a child could spot. Now, CBS photoshops its billion dollar anchor-woman Katie Couric to shed 20 pounds off her thighs, shoulders, brains, and waist.
FreakingNews should have copyrighted news photoshopping to start with, and sue those rich bastards for big bucks, so we can retire and spend all our money on beer and chicks donate all our money to Red Cross. The difference is that FreakingNews labels all our work as "photoshop" work, but CBS tries to present theirs as a real photo in its 400,000 circulation magazine, and think their readers are too dumb to notice. They should have reserved a special "readers comments" section under the published Couric's photo, and by golly they'd receive comments like:
* Great work, but I'd lower the opacity of her suit to look closer to the original.
* Quality chop; however consider removing obvious cloning in her waist area.
* OK, but Couric's head needs some slimming too to match the rest of the body
Contest directions: Make Katie Couric slim. And by slim I mean something which would make anorexic Nicole Richie look like the biggest fatass that ever roamed this planet. Let's show CBS what the real chopping is all about. You want her slimmer? You will get her slimmer.
Reuters Photoshops Beirut Photo pictures - So to sum the story up, Reuters pulled the doctored Beirut photo saying - OK, we photoshopped it. Sorry, folks, here's the original, if you think the clone tool we used is too obvious. Just wanted to show a tad more smoke and destruction there, that's all. Rather than sending to Reuters editors a copy of "Photoshop for Dummies", let us help Reuters with their photoshop skills by providing examples of how good photoshop work looks like when it comes to creating hoax news photos.
In this contest you are asked to create hoax news, or make hoax photos for real news. Your entries have to be made in the form of magazine/newspaper covers, OR website pages from famous news sites (Reuters, CNN, Yahoo News, BBC, etc.)
Photo Exhibition pictures - Photoshop this photo exhibition image (CLICK HERE to download) any way you wish. Examples may include changing this photo exhibition into some other exhibition, placing the spectator into some environment, movies, paintings. These are just some ideas.
You have 3 days to submit your entry. Submitting it early will give you plenty of time to read the critique comments and edit your image accordingly.

Putting "Instant Photos" on the box was just another trap trick by the US Intelligence. / This deserves a 15, but a 10 will have to suffice. I am awed.

Bouguereau´s Photoshooting pictures - / this is so cool , maybe she need to be lil blur in my opinion / Great concept. She looks somehow not integrated - but can't put my finger on it. Try soften on the edges of her outline. Good job tho - well done. / I see what Laff means but not sure how it could be improved - perhaps more contrast, stronger directional light from left. but really nice as is. / Needs a bit more work on the hair - kind of sharp edges there. / A little bit of soft edges would make this picture superb.. / you should consider also the shadow to look your work more real.
