painted lips pictures - / Very solid concept, but there's a big lighting mismatch. Look how the lighting hits the viewer's right side of her face, but the viewer's left side of his body. Also, the shadow density from the shadow he is casting is far denser than the shadow cast from her lip, and he is further from her face. Try adding a brown tone to the shadow sampled from the shaded region from her face, and add it to his shadow, apply a 1.0 or so gaussian blur, and drop the opacity so the shadow better matches the ones found in your base image. / in other words: 1) Flip the guy horizontally 2) Change the shadow color to a sample of her cheek shadow color. 3) Smudge his shadow to make it follow the lip contour. 4) Mess around w/ G. blur 5) Save the file 6) Think of funny caption 7) Write Chris & Stimpygato a nastygram Funny Chop regardless
Painted Ponies pictures - I guess it'll make it easier to identify your own livestock. / Very nice merge. Yeehaw little doggie.
Painted Lady pictures - src1 src2 / I like it. The dragon on her leg is my favorite part. / Congrats on the triple crown. I have always been fondest of redheads
Painted Leaves pictures - / I love it - one of the best entries in the contest. I'd make it look more like a paint in some colored parts though - increase saturation too to match the juicy green paint on the brush. / great image, love the idea, but maybe a little less bevel and emboss / beautifull idea, it remember me Pleseantville movie. Well done / I like it. I've no other comments to add to the above. / Ingenious idea : perhaps the brush could have been a little smaller, with only the green part of the photo running. A small contradiction, the photo is vertical and the brush is laid flat on it. / Newsy & Apraxine pretty much covered it. This is a brilliant idea tho.
The painted tint of an elephant pictures - I tried to portray the artistic aspect with the buckets spurring colored paints... but use your creativity to interpret the picture / i like the artistic trunk-paint aspect. great thinking. first thing that strikes: only the original elephant got a shadow... / bizarre shadows but shadows after all / the shadows are missing under the elephants
Painted pictures - / Nice picture. It would be even better if the paintbrush was positioned in the fingers of the artist. / VERY nice... I would have added a hand to the paintbrush though rather than it floating alone. / hmm, where have I seen this idea before.... oh yes, it was my idea in the "bike stunt" contest. Nice try, but it needs a bit more work. / I agree that it would be more nice with the artist's hand; not agree with liltim about it need more work bbecause that sound kind non-humble from him; and in my opinion it's so nice but as it was the same idea from the winner from our last contest I think you need something different to win, anyway GOOD LUCK.
Chopped Painted Ridden pictures - Only source bike used, apologies to other chopper bike but was working on this when you posted your entry. / Me likes a lot. But ou may wanna get rid of the wheel shadow on the further hill. It should end where the cliff ends.
Painted Face pictures - Hayden Panettiere aka. Claire Bennet from Heroes goes goth. Full view best. Sources / Excellent work, full view is impressive. My only critique is that the face is pale while the rest of her skin (neck, behind the ears) is completely black, which makes it look a bit unnatural
