Paint by numbers funny pictures - / Nice colorization. I know it was a difficult picture to colorize. That's why I chose it. / The only thing I could possibly critique here would be that the greens of the harvest items are a bit monochrome. Otherwise, it's very realistic. Good job on the bricks.

The work itself looks very good to my novice eyes. / Thanks, but I'm not targeting Alec Baldwin (who I adore). It's a parody, not an attack. / Great reference to his parental issues with daughter Ireland. I wish face looked more like Alec's though.
08.08.08 lucky numbers in China funny pictures - / Shouldn't the white 8 be linked with the red . Also, why is it the only element with a shadow. / Think the barbed wire is essential to the Western World's (USA at least) view of the PRC and the Olympics being held there. The Blue, Black, Red, Yellow and Green interlinked circles are the "traditional" Logo of the Olympics. The drop downs for the first two 8's aren't linked. The third 8 could be construed as a ribbon, perhaps from Women's Rhythmic Gymnastics (now there's a sport.) overlaying the interlinked rings. My only critiques to improve upon this chop would be: To my own taste, perhaps change the third 8's white to something to delineate it from the background. And, if possible, increase the size of 'NINI'. This could be achieved by keeping her the same size so her resolution doesn't go down the chute and reducing the rest of the image. There is plenty of 'landscape' to do this - I had to zoom out to 57% to get the title and the FN bar at the bottom. / I like this, but I can't see where it has anything to do with the contest. / thanks for all the comments (i like the ribbon idea - should have thought of that..). 8 is a lucky number for the chinese, sort of like 13 to westerners (UN-lucky for some). thats why they started the games on 8 Aug.2008 at 8:08pm... how charming. the barb represents the absence of free press, thus, no magazine cover. / Hey GP, my comments was because the contest said "Show what could happen to celebrities, politicians, or any people, if they suddenly had a strike of extremely good luck."
