Children's Movies pictures -
French movie "The Class" has won at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
"The Class" tells a story about a life in a tough Paris school with
unruly pupils. What makes this win amazing is that there were no
professional actors in the movie - it was played by real pupils and
real teachers. A bunch of these happy pupils were at the Cannes'
ceremony sharing the glory of receiving the Cannes' Palme d'Or with the
film director Laurent Cantet.
This is the first time a French movie won the Cannes' Palme d'Or
since 1987 when French director Maurice Pialat won with his film
"Under Satan's Sun".
Take any movie and turn it into a children's movie. Change actors
into children (or even babies) or puppets, add pacifiers, rubber
duckies, toys, etc. These are just some ideas.

Valentine's Day Movies pictures -
Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Unfortunately there are hardly any good romantic movies in cinemas this week. Thus, if we really want Valentine's Day movies, there can only be one answer - the power of Photoshop.
Give Valentine's Day theme to any movie. Example - think of how even horror movies can turn into Valentine's Day movies full of romance, Valentine's hearts, and teddy bears...
Wedding Movies pictures -
The thief who stole wedding photos of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes escaped prison and was sentenced to two years probation on Thursday.
The thief had blackmailed Tomkat in attempt to extort $1.3m in exchange for stolen wedding photographs, threatening to make the pictures public unless Tomkat pays.
Give wedding theme to any movies. Feel free to dress any actors or movie characters. You can even put wedding dresses on male characters. See what creative movie titles and posters you can come up with!
Primaries in Movies pictures -
Primaries and debates in Iowa last week left the Clinton camp disappointed and the Obama camp more confident after the win. Mike Huckabee was a surprising winner for the Republicans. Polls for the New Hampshire primaries show Obama in the lead followed by Clinton for the Democrats, while McCain and Romney are running nose to nose for the Republicans. The voters in New Hampshire will make their choices on Tuesday.
Take any movie and change a cast or title to give it a theme connected to the US primaries - Iowa or New Hampshire. Some examples might be: "Iowa Kid" starring Obama (spoof of "Karate Kid"), "There's something about Huckabee" (spoof of "There's something about Mary"), etc. Try to include at least something in the movie poster that would show the "US primaries" theme in Iowa or New Hampshire - this could be words in the movie title, or the debates shown in part of the poster, poll results, etc. Let's see what creative titles you can come up with!
Christmas Movies pictures -
All we want for Christmas are some quality holiday movies, say movie critics. According to the recent reviews, there will hardly be any brilliant movies on the Hollywood sky this Christmas. Nothing will come close to the boxoffice success of movies like "The Matrix" and "The Lord of the Rings" of the last years. The upcoming sequels of "National Treasure" and "Aliens vs. Predator" this Christmas are not considered to become huge boxoffice hits.
Photoshop any movies to give them a Christmas theme. E.g. dress up movie stars in Christmas costumes, add snow and Christmas tree, make Christmas sequels of the known movies. See what creative movie titles you can come up with.
Art Movies pictures -
Despite the poor reviews from movie critics, Da Vinci Code movie has been so popular with the viewers that Columbia Pictures is making a sequel. The bad news is that the Da Vinci Code sequel production has been temporarily stopped because of the Hollywood writers strike. The movie was originally planned for release in 2008, but now has been rescheduled for May 2009.
Photoshop characters from the old paintings (drawings and statues are ok too) starring in any movies. You are welcome to change movie titles or make sequels. Some examples are: Adam starring as James Bond, American Gothic couple starring as Mr. and Mrs. Smith., etc.
Martin Scorsese Movies pictures -
Academy Award-winning Italian-American film director Martin Scorsese is celebrating his 65th birthday this Saturday. From "Taxi Driver" to "The Departed" he produced iconic movies from the 70s to the current days. Despite the numerous Academy Awards nominations for "the best director", Scorsese received his first "director" Oscar only in 2006, for "The Departed". The audience of the 2006 Oscars honored him with one of the longest standing ovations in the history of Acaremy Awards.
To mark the 65th birthday of the great film director, photoshop any of the Martin Scorsese movies any way you wish. Some examples are: designing a sequel or a prequel movie, changing the cast, merging his movies with any other movies. See what creative titles you can come up with.
Horror Movies pictures -
A survey made just in time for Halloween revealed that The Exorcist is considered the scariest horror movie of all times. The survey was conducted by the internet giant MSN. Every fifth respondent answered that he / she was most frightened by The Exorcist flick. The titles of the second and third scariest movies are the Saw (series) and The Shining. Hannibal Lector was chosen the top horror villain. If you are like us, you will grab some popcorn and watch horror movies this Halloween night.
Have a happy and safe Halloween!
Photoshop any horror movie any way you wish (merge with another movie, change cast, titles, etc.), or turn any movie into a horror movie. Merging two horror movies into one is also allowed. See what creative titles you can come up with!
Borat Movies pictures - His jokes are so wrong and he's been all over the news in the past week. Who is he? If you answered "John Kerry" you answered right. If you answered "Borat", you also answered right, except that Borat's jokes are slightly more politically correct than Kerry's.
[ After making a splash at the Cannes, Toronto, and London film festivals, Borat’s controversial new movie premiered in the United States on November 3 and quickly became the box-office leader. ]
In this contest you are asked to photoshop Borat into any other movies by showing movie posters or movie scenes. Feel free to give a new name to movies you put Borat into.
Movies Merge as Google Buys YouTube? pictures -
Well, the buzz is upon us. Google has acquired YouTube in a 1.65 billion dollar buyout. Apparently Google's "Do no evil" corporate motto, does not apply to lighting flatulence, large men dressed as women dancing to Shakira tunes, and copyright violating uploads of prime time television. Tasteless? yes. Evil? well, maybe not. Definitely something that will need to be forwarded around via "work related only" email networks.
I wondered how Google video would be affected by this merging of the masses, and it looks like it may come off without a hitch. However, we here at Freaking News know better. Any company mergers and acquisitions of this magnitude are going to result in problems. We predict this merger will result in the merging of some of the hosted movies!
In this contest, you are asked to merge movies. Utilizing screenshots or movie posters, merge two or more movies into one glamorous creation. Comedy is a huge plus in this sort of contest so put your thinking caps on. Example: Lord of the Ringmaster (Merge Lord of the Rings with Jerry Springer's "The Ringmaster")
Alfred Hitchcock's Movies? pictures - Few movie directors can be considered as influential to film industry as Alfred Hitchcock. There's something mysterious, thrilling, and nostalgic about his movies which can never be repeated in films nowadays. E.g. "Psycho" is often seen as a turning point in film history. To honor the "Master of Suspense", in this contest you are asked to change actors in his movies with celebrities and politicians of modern days or from the past. Either old movie shots or posters are allowed. P.S. When I was posting this contest, I noticed that the contest number came up ending in 13 (1113). Hitchcock's birthday is on August 13. Number 13 is connected to many superstitions and probably matches the feel we get from Hitchcock's movies.
Horror Movies pictures - Put celebrities or politicians into any horror or monster movie or use their image to create a cool movie monster!
Animals in Movies pictures - Using movie scenes or posters, show us what the movies would look like if animals played the roles rather than the original human actors and actresses.
