Picasso's Marilyn Monroe pictures - / Love the other Marilyn (above). Mine represents Picasso's 'Cubist period' whereas the other one looks more like one from his 'Rose period'.
Girl & Marilyn pictures - / Rotate Marilyn horizontally, adjust the shadows and increase the contrast on M.M. and we have a winner. / Looks better now but that's not all I wanted... Shadowing is much more complicate than add a shadow as an effect. The light comes from the right, it's sunlight, noon perhaps (look at the shadow of the themepost on the right). The opposite - your shadow. It looks like a one resulting of a flashlight, coming from a different angle and direction. Light is elementary in every photo manipulation - it decides whether the work looks photorealistic or not. I would use parts of the themepost to create a shadow - instead of an effect. You also could parts of the guard's clothes to make Marilyn's dress look like tanning in the sun Go on for it. I like the idea - good luck. / I agree with TT -- a study of the guard's shadow could have helped with this. If you check the difference, you can see why TT wanted more. Really good idea. / The day California allowed gay marriages Nice concept.
