We are asking you to use your creativity and create any new magazine cover using the theme post as a reference. You will have 3 days to submit your entry. Submitting it early will give you plenty of time to read the critique comments and edit your image accordingly. Typical FreakingNews entry guidelines also apply. You can find them here.
Your images will be critiqued even if you ask for no critique in the apprentice contests.

Slim-Fast Magazine pictures - View Full for best results. / It obviously makes sense for Slim-Fast to hire a thin, "beautiful" spokesperson than someone who is fat and ugly. / That's true. / I totally agree.. What comes OUT of Whoopi's mouth is far worse than what has gone into it. / I at one time liked her, not anymore. She has sunk to low standards. She has become trailer trash. / I think Whoopi Goldberg is cool and Slim Fast horribly overreacted. They should have been thankful to have her as their spokesperson for their products which by the way do more harm than good to those who use the stuff. It's obvious free speech is rapidly shrinking down to nothing thanks to the fascism in this world. It's such a shame / I really Like the "I WAS BORN HOT" great touch / Alot of guys would buy it just to see her.

Alien News Magazine pictures - They have to read too. / "Humans: Taste Great or Less Filling."............. .... Oh that's hilarious. Very creative. / lovin the title. Great creativity. Athough, maybe the description under the subtopic should be a bit smaller so it doesnt all run together. haha, but love the picture. Looks awesome. / Good job, but try to put more article titles on the magazine cover as mags usually have it

Please view full-sized. / Um,I kinda think tweety looks like he's put on wrong but overall i think you did pretty darn good.. / Sorry, but I don't understand either comment. Can you be more descriptive with your critique, please. / Yup. Definately laughing quality haha. Looks like they mean the shadows shoulda been on the opposite side...but, i think its a good piece. Maybe adjust the font so they arent floating by themselves, for example, the date of the magazine, in my opinion, would look a bit better under the title. But overall, its a great compilation. / The stories just break me up, and the price barcode is genius.
