Seahorse Aquarium pictures - / Try adding a gaussian blur to the outer edges of the image within the dome to create a translucent effect. It will take away some of the flatness of the central image and tie it in better with the curvature of the base. You also may want to push the image right out to the edges of the dome so that there isn't such a definite edge. / Here is a tutorial for creating a globe effect if you want to try a different approach. Globe Effect
Bionic-hybrid horse pictures - If cowboys ruled they'd probably want the newest model Bionic-hybrid horse. sources / masking isn't very close around the stirrup and the lighting isn't consistent throughout the image. / Excellent work. Would make a great car poster. / You have a very discerning eye Keb, thanks for the pointers. I had a lot of problems with directional lighting because of the dozens of chopped car parts I used to make the horse image. / Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so harsh. I also didn't point out any of the positive things of which there are many more than negative. It is a nice image and you did a good job on it. / Congratulations on a well-deserved gold, wood.
Seahorse Racing pictures - Woah Horsey. Is that any better Newsy. / I like this a lot, but I would increase the contrast and levels of the whole entry. The bubbles from the jockey are done excellently.
Horse Legs pictures - source image / I must be dense. Even in full view I can't tell what this is supposed to be, horse/robot/Napoleon. Am I close.
Seahorse Butterfly pictures - / Quality composition. I would blur the tail a bit (for perspective) and add some shadows from a tail. / The tail is the only area needing a little tlc. overall beautiful work. / I agree. The tail needs some blur as well so it matches the flower it's wrapped around. Nice work.
Gold horse pictures - / nice coloring. but i think you also need to focus on your reflection. / ... i love the colouring..but maybe work on the masking, cause i see some green on the horse / thanks. good job. i think the lit' green is fine cause its just give the horse more looks like 3d effect. or i would say its the board reflection. / there is still just a bit of green on the very front of the mane (above the eyes) and near the bottom of the neck on the mane
Horse pictures - / One of my favorites in this contest. It's a creative idea, and the weight of Napoleon make the poor horse look even more anorexic.
The Last Seahorse pictures - / Very Nice, couple suggestions, clean up the clone marks on the dark left side of the painting and add just a little noise or grain/texture on the seahorse and this will be perfect. / Good idea, thanks for the help, I was trying to get a dead/translucent effect on the skin forgot the texture element.
The Pale Horse pictures - / just a suggestion here. try to match the sharpness of the horse to the stone. i think this will standout more. / I agree with allan's suggestion. Good texture work though. / agree with Allan & Newsy, but still one of the best / Congratulations Robocop on your graduation.
