Serriously, / The voters with clout usually wait and vote right before the contest is over. 4.6 actually isn't bad. I won a silver with a 5.88 once. After studying voting habits, I think most people hover over the 5 , staying in the 4-6 range. You see one occasionally that deserves a 9 or 10 but a 7 is a winning vote from me. I'm kind of confused about the voting system here too, but the right image usually wins. Sometimes the idea of the image wins over PS skills, I like the idea of this one but I would tone the contrast on the face and hair down a bit , work with the hue on the hat to match the jacket, and work on the hand so it appears more natural. Right now it looks like it behind the motor. But the idea you have here is great. Even the masters put up junk occasionally, what might might be right for you may not be right for some....but it takes Dif'rent strokes ....but then it's a little late for a critique...sorry / Hmmm I just noticed the line of the hand intersecting the line of the pump Good call. / Ah, but can 'she' cook, clean and do the laundry.
