Google Unusual pictures - Make your own version of the Google logo as it should appear on a real or fake holiday, or honoring someone. Here is a really large version of the logo for your downloading pleasure!
Google Phone pictures -
Search giant Google is planning to lay its hand on mobile phone market. For two years Google engineers have been working on a secret project designing
Google Phone which will run on Google's Linux-based software, and will provide integration with other Google services - GMail, Google maps, Google search, etc. The so called GPhone is expected to be a strong rival to the Apple iPhone, and is scheduled for release later this year.
Photoshop what Google Phone may look like, or what it should NOT look like. While we encourage you to submit "mobile phone" versions, you may also try designing static, or even antique Google Phone if you wish.
Google pictures - Photoshop one of the following: what will happen to Google in the future if stocks continue to fall; what Google can do to cut its costs or to increase its revenues; what happens to the shareholders / investors who 'lost their shirt' investing into Google.
Movies Merge as Google Buys YouTube? pictures -
Well, the buzz is upon us. Google has acquired YouTube in a 1.65 billion dollar buyout. Apparently Google's "Do no evil" corporate motto, does not apply to lighting flatulence, large men dressed as women dancing to Shakira tunes, and copyright violating uploads of prime time television. Tasteless? yes. Evil? well, maybe not. Definitely something that will need to be forwarded around via "work related only" email networks.
I wondered how Google video would be affected by this merging of the masses, and it looks like it may come off without a hitch. However, we here at Freaking News know better. Any company mergers and acquisitions of this magnitude are going to result in problems. We predict this merger will result in the merging of some of the hosted movies!
In this contest, you are asked to merge movies. Utilizing screenshots or movie posters, merge two or more movies into one glamorous creation. Comedy is a huge plus in this sort of contest so put your thinking caps on. Example: Lord of the Ringmaster (Merge Lord of the Rings with Jerry Springer's "The Ringmaster")
Google hits $500 a share; owns the world pictures - [ Google's stock price surpassed $500 for the first time on Tuesday, earning Google another milestone in global domination. ]
My, my, how times change. In the 90s anyone who knew what Google is was considered a geek. Now, anyone who knows search engines other than Google is considered a geek. In the 90s AltaVista was a king of search engines. Now, if you ask people what AltaVista is, they'll tell you it's what Schwarzenegger likes to say before he blows up some badass in his movies.
With the amount of money Google has, their "do no evil" motto slowly turns into "root of all evil."
Google is everywhere. Soon enough, when you ask your local policeman for directions to a restaurant, he'll tell you to "google for it".
It's only a matter of time before Google owns everything.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop what changes we'll see when Google rules the world - e.g. when Google buys other companies, products, buildings, cities, countries, and planets.
NASA, Google team up pictures -
[ NASA and Google have teamed up to make Google Earth flyovers available for the surfaces of Mars and the moon. Additional Google Earth data will include real-time weather forecasting and visualization, as well as tracking of the International Space Station and space shuttle activity. ]
NASA teaming up with Google to bring the next version of Google Earth is like a street bum teaming up with Bill Gates to bring the next version of Windows. On a tight government budget, NASA became like "down to earth" bum begging for money. Google, on the other hand, is getting into astronomy, and they made their first advances. Google's money is already astronomical.
NASA-Google already talk about possible space missions projects. Given the past mistakes, NASA asked Google to equip each space shuttle console with
"I'm feeling lucky" button.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop anything related the Google - NASA partnership. Feel free to show what changes this alliance will bring in forms of products, new logos, space missions, etc.
Google Monopoly pictures - / Very Very nice. Great effort. Nice drop shadows on the notes. Still it appears to be blurred - compression. It kinda' takes away from the image. Overall impact is fab though. / Very creative work - one of my favorites in this contest. Pity that it's somewhat blurry, even in full view.
Google plane pictures - Google Duo's New Jet Is a Boeing 767-200 --View Full-- / They ought to use that paint job. Great idea.
Google pictures - Google salutes the Chick-Fil-a cows and their relentless efforts in promoting the public's health and awareness of correct spelling. / I like it, I think the search window should've said "Beef" then did you mean Chickin.
Google for DOS pictures - / To say this is a great idea is to say nothing'. It's bloody brilliant.
gOOgle pictures - / I would never search for anything as low and perverse as.... she has GREAT cans. / Bea is certainly one (two) of the greats. I notice that UPINARMS has a distinct appreciation of girls with similar charms in many of his posts. I share his enthusiasm.
Google Mercedes-Benz pictures - / Oh, MAN. You beat me to it. I'm going to have to install Photoshop at my job. Can I post my idea anyway. / Clever / I liked how you made gradients of colors google-like. Overall a great concept. And congratulations on winning your first FN trophy.
iGoog - Google`s iPod pictures - This was a fun project. Apple is a huge company and maybe one day google will own them. / Yes, but apple logo could have been incorporated - apple is missing. Also the hand in shadow is cut off. / Great concept. Maybe I'll get lucky with this device
Hubble Google pictures - The Hubble technology is invaluable to those who don't want straight answers and Hubble will live forever at www.hubble.com / Cute, not much of a photoshop job, but funny idea. / I must admit, I didn't get it at first, but I believe the blurriness is intentional. Remember the Hubble had some problems and was not getting as sharp of images as it should have. Subtle but rather funny joke.
Google pictures - Eric Schmidt, Google's chairman and chief executive, shown here displaying "..some cool stuff I found in a dumpster near the building site and fixed up.." announced Wednesday Google was to build a research complex at NASA's Research Center and collaborate with the space agency's scientists. / With the global google domination, that's inevitable
