Goodbye, Bill Gates pictures -
Bill Gates has officially left Microsoft this Friday.
While Bill planned his departure for years, it happens at a difficult time for Microsoft - the company struggles to compete with Google for search engine domination. Microsoft attempts to make its own "live search" popular were not successful, and the company is back to negotiations with Yahoo about the possible take-over of Yahoo search engine.
Before "Microsoft" was registered as a trade name in 1976, the partnership was called "Micro-soft" for a year before the hyphen was dropped. In the first years of Microsoft, Bill Gates actively wrote code, and personally reviewed every line of code that was written by other employees. Gates was always fascinated with programming and was often described as a geek or even nerd by people who studied with him.
He went from zero to hero with Microsoft, he brought us Windows, but now the captain is leaving the boat. Good bye, Bill!
To say good-bye to Bill Gates, photoshop him any way you wish. Some examples are: showing what alternative professions he could have chosen, Gates in movies and paintings, photoshopping Bill Gates as a nerd (in the current or early years),

Gates Glass Window pictures - If you'd like to see an extra large version go here. I started out with a pic of Bill and a Windows logo. WIP is here, but it's not complete. I've never tried to make one before and it messed up when I started adding the layers of glass so I stopped the WIP, but it gives you an idea of the process to start a glass image. Everything is done by hand. The only filter used was a little bevel on the lead lines. I use the line tool to draw all of the lines. Enjoy. / Excellent work. Masterful technique of stained glass / Nope. The glass is acutally a pic of glass from sxc blended over my painting, layer upon layer, piece by piece. You can't control shadow and light using a texture filter. / Impressive, must have taken hours. My only advice is to make the watch face one piece of glass. For some reason the X bugs me. But that's just nitpicking. Fantastic work . This should get a mantle piece. / Unbelievable...I'd be ever so interested in the time involved in a project like this. Fabulous.. / Thanks May, I think I probably worked on this one about 8 hours or so. / OK, maybe the X on the watch symbolizes Bills time is gone...so I'll except the X now... . Solid 10 with or without the X. Also if you decide to turn that glass into a texture I would love a copy of the file. That effect would be great for my ceramic ornaments. / Whew...8 hours... farmer bill gates pictures - here's a short WIP / Nice chop but the contrast of the hands,neck and face are slightly off. More contrast in the face would bring out more detail as in the hands and neck, but I would sponge or blur the neck, just too much detail to match the Bill source. Maybe some light work would help. / Jerry is right, but this is sooo good, it's not detracting. / Congrats Tim The image reminds me of the phrase, "Don't pay the ferryman, til he gets you to the otherside." / Silver bells for liltim, congratulations Belgium. / Congrats Tim. Hardcore band did the soundtrack to the upcoming Blockbuster. nice work here / Excellent work. I'm afraid to enter now.. / Why does my computer crash when I try to view this image. / Mine pooped out trying view this contest....which gave me the idea. / This is quite excellent. Sure to place in the top 3.

Photorealistic and makes me smile in an I hate monopolies sort of way.... / Good idea, but it needs a lot more blending. Especially where the head meets the neck. / Solid work overall, but I see some sharp remains of the source picture behind and down his ear.
