| Funny New Seven Wonders of the World pictures - This weekend the New 7 wonders of the World were announced, as determined by global voting via internet, phone and SMS, out of the list of 21 candidates. The winners are: Rome's Colosseum, The Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal in India, Machu Picchu in Peru, Statue of Christ Redeemer in Brazil, Petra in Jordan, and Chichen Itza pyramid in Mexico. As you can see the only "old wonder" that made the list again was the Colosseum in Rome, and it was also the only wonder chosen from Europe. Surprisingly, the Egyptian pyramids of Giza were not chosen.
Photoshop any of the New Seven Wonders of the World listed above in any way you like - modernize them, make some toys based on the wonders, include them in paintings, etc. Some examples to get you started are: decorating The Great Wall of China, making McDonald's restaurant out of the Taj Mahal, or giving a paint job to the Colosseum.

Simmons co-founded Kiss in the early 1970s, and invented the band's face makeup and stage outfits, which became the band's trademark and made Kiss one of the most recognizable bands of all times.
To mark the 60th birthday of Gene Simmons and pay a tribute to his creation, give the famous Kiss makeup to any people, animals, or objects. Here's a good example. World UFO Day is observed on July 2 - on this day UFO enthusiasts seek to put pressure on governments worldwide to release the accumulated UFO evidence to the public.
The date of July 2 was chosen due to the world famous Roswell Incident, that happened on July 2, 1947 when Mac Brazel, a rancher in Roswell, New Mexico discovered a UFO wreckage on his ranch. The first reports referenced the wrecked metal object as Unidentified Flying Object. Authorities quickly removed the wreckage and retracted the reports, which led to the wide speculation of massive government cover-up of all UFO evidence.
To celebrate World UFO Day, we ask you to create UFO evidence any way you wish. Some examples are: including UFO photos or placing Unidentified Flying Object in famous photos or paintings.

Last week Google paid tribute to Jacques Cousteau on what would have been the French undersea explorer's 100th birthday. Google homepage had a drawing of a scuba diver, which revealed the phrase "Happy 100th Birthday Jacques Cousteau!" when placing the cursor over the drawing.
U.S. lawmakers also rendered homage to Cousteau last week with a resolution honoring a man who became famous through his books and films and whose hawk-like figure became a ubiquitous TV presence in the 1960s and 70s with the U.S.-sponsored television series "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau." Former naval officer, Cousteau tried to show us the underwater world in all its beauty. One of Cousteau's friends later said about him: "Jacques was a rare French man who loved the sea as much as he loved women."
Take any famous place (tourist attraction, city, landscape) and photoshop it underwater. Here's a good example by TiredTom.

| Funny Where in the World Was Gov. Mark Sanford? pictures -
Gov. Mark Sanford magically disappeared last Thursday, which raised questions on his whereabouts and who's in charge of his absence. Tuesday Sanford's staff told media that the governor is safe and is hiking along the Appalachian Trail. However, Gov. Sanford ended the seven days of mystery and guesses, when he arrived in the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Wednesday morning, and said that he's been on a 7 day trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he was having an affair with an Argentinian woman. When asked why his staff reported that he was on the Appalachian Trail, Sanford replied, "I don't know." Critics slammed Sanford and his staff for cover-ups and lies.
Additionally, in the light of his recent disappearance Gov. Sanford corrected his position on marriage:
"Marriage should only be between a man, a woman, and another woman from Argentina." (~twitter Joshbhatti)

Gaddafi's whereabouts have been unknown for months and most of his entourage have fled or gone into hiding after forces backed by Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) overran Tripoli on August 23 and seized power.
While the ousted leader's spokesman told Reuters that "the leader is in good health, in high morale ... and is in Libya", there are growing rumors that Gaddafi fled Libya weeks ago, otherwise NATO forces and rebels would have found him already.
Let's give NATO some clues and show where or how Muammar Gaddafi may be hiding.

Since he inherited power from his late father in 2000, Assad has sought to strengthen his strategic position by reinforcing an alliance started by his father with Shi'ite Iran while backing Arab militant groups and sticking to his father's policy of avoiding direct confrontation with Israel.
