New York's Coney Island has long been known for its freaky folks. This month it held its third annual Beard and Moustache Competition. Two traditional categories there are Best Natural Female Beard/Moustache. As the event organizer said: "I have run into a few ladies that are letting it all grow out just for the event. Historically, bearded women were always in demand by freak shows and traveling circuses".

The normal amount of body hair for women varies. Most of the time, a woman only has fine hair, or peach fuzz, above the lips and on the chin, chest, abdomen, or back. Coarse, dark hairs in these areas, is the condition called hirsutism, normally caused by increased levels of male hormones. Latest studies at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) showed that the following factors can stagnate the levels of female hormones and increase the levels of male hormones for women: lack of sleep, excessive smoking and alcohol consumption. I may be wrong but does the above research imply that all the the chicks who like to party should eventually have beards on their faces?

America's darling Wonder Woman will be turning 70 next year, so DC Comics (the creators of Wonder Woman) gave her a new look, reasoning that "no woman would wear the same outfit for 70 years". However, the "new" Wonder Woman caused a lot of anger among the fans of the beloved comics character. According to many fans, the Wonder Woman's new costume shows the American submission to the evils of globalization, the costume lost the American red, white and blue, and became anti-American. One of the bloggers said "We've just lost a part of our culture. Wonder Woman is no longer American..."
The new version of Wonder Woman released by DC Comics caused a lot of anger, for being non-American. But it's only fair that every nation should get their own Wonder Woman who protects the nation by dodging bullets with her bracelets, fighting terrorists, and bringing bad guys to justice. Take any country and design its own version of Wonder Woman - German Wonder Woman, Russian Wonder Woman, Canadian Wonder Woman, etc.

I don't want to alarm you but it seems they have found one woman on earth who agreed to go on for 10 days wearing the same outfit, with no shopping, no beauty saloons, and no other women to chat with.
"Anousheh Ansari from Dallas will become the first woman space tourist this month. She will join astronauts in the Russian capsule Soyuz launch (scheduled for Sept. 18) and will spend 10 days at an international space station before returning to Earth with its current crew. The woman paid over $20 million for this trip."
Well, here we are - women tourists in space. It won't be long before women space tourists will change the face of space travel. Pink space shuttles will be a mess packed with elegant astronaut suits (or should I say dresses), matching pairs of shoes, and gazillions of chocolate bars, perfume, and make-up items. The International Space Station will look like a spa,
with attached department stores. Will there still be room left for science, you ask? Of course. Space research topics will include: "Does this space suit make my butt look fat?", "How to eat 100 astro chocolate bars and not gain weight", and "Is there life on Snickers?"
In this contest you are asked to show how women would rule the space exploration and tourism - womanize astronaut clothes & accesories, spaceships, equipment, etc.

 Fat Women funny pictures - / How can anyone find making fun of obesity funny.. Its not some can't help the way they are. I am shocked and apalled how people make fun of fat people. / Fat Britney Spears looks far better than the skinny celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie. / As someone who has battled weight in the past, I don't view my fattening of people as "making fun". I actually think many of them look better/more normal after I've added a few pounds. I just think it's fun to see what so-called "perfect" celebs would look like if they were less "perfect". It makes the "god-like" seem more human. / I agree with angelface of Independents, it is not nice or funny to make fun of fat people. I do not know of any overweight person who enjoys being heavy and if they had a choice I am sure they would not choose to be overweight or labeled. However, I am also a junkie when it comes to the E channel. I found these photos amusing because they bring humor to the fact that our society is ignorant, studies prove that people are treated differently according to their appearance rather then their hard work and talents. / Sadly, very true. We humans have a tendancy towards valuing the trivial and ignoring the things that truly matter. Beauty is a wonderful thing, but we should not lose sight of the fact that it is not the only thing. Nor the fact that thin does not necessarily equal beauty and fat does not necessarily mean ugly. As is said, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". / she gets more beautiful as she gets fatter. / To be honest I appreciate that some fat people enjoy being fat, but is it not, at the end of the day, a weakness and do they simply eat too much and not take enough exercise. Weight balance is not rocket science. Put in too much and you get fat, eat and exercise responsibly and you will continue to look like a human, and not a whale. And who will end up paying when obese people become a burden on the medical services. It's irresponsible. / fat women are hotter than anorexic women go big girl.. / I don't really think this is making fun of fat people. / Well, I think it's a person's choice to either pick up that burger and fries. but, it's not surprising that someone has to always be offended or threatened when somebody happens to challenge their viewpoint of things. Being constantly bombarded by images of ideal beauty (particularly for women) has disastrous implications for our self esteem. We are constantly worried about our weight- whether we are too fat or too skinny- and it isn't a surprise why 1 in 5 women have an eating disorder. But if we think of any little abnormality towards eating than 4 out of 5 women would have an eating disorder. This could be bulimia, anorexia nervosa, or even compulsory eating disorder. These are psychological disorders towards eating. Calling most people who are fat as being "lazy or greedy" completely overlooks genetics. Some people are genetically inclined towards heaviness. In addition, some people have eating disorders not just because of the media but because of other oppressive circumstances- a response towards racism, sexism, or other forms of oppression. I think we are too focused on the bodies of women. I am not saying we should focus on the bodies of men, either. But that we should focus on the psychological, emotional, and physical well-being of all individuals across various genders and quit trying to make a competition for women based on arbitrary terms of beauty when only a small percentage of women are genetically inclined towards "model-like" thinness. Maybe we should have the media move away from the bodies of women and more towards talent, mind, and intellectual contributions. Men are always portrayed as smart, intellectual, rich, and powerful or aggressive and promiscuous. Why not level out the playing field so that women have better representation. / shes not fat............ IM FAT the New Jersey with people who make fun of someone for their apperiance.... / well I know a few fat girls that are better looking than thin girl
