On the campaign trail, Michelle Obama compared the president with Luke Skywalker and said that he will 'use "the Force" in the upcoming elections'. In fact, President Obama is a long Star Wars fan, as well as his wife and the daughters. The photos of Obama playing with a Star Wars lightsaber at the White House became an instant Internet sensation when many Star Wars bloggers wrote that President Obama is secretly a Jedi Knight.

The reason is that it's the only day of the year when you go around saying "May the Fourth be with you!" - the pun on the immortal phrase from the Star Wars saga.
In belated celebration of Star Wars Day, merge any movie, cartoon, or TV series/sitcom with any of the Star Wars movies. Here's a good example.

Russia will be setting up its army in the disputed Arctic area to protect its oil interests in the region. Shrinking polar ice will be making it easier to extract and ship the oil from the Arctic where over 25% of the Earth's oil is located. With Russia's rapidly depleting oil deposits, the Arctic can become Russia's main source of oil by 2020. Russia will be the first country to setup its military base in the Arctic region... this might be the first step in the real "cold" war.
With temperatures that cold Russia's might as well start recruiting local Polar animals for its Arctic army. In this contest you are to militarize any Arctic animals (polar bears, penguins, walruses, seals, arctic whales, belugas, etc.). Give them some weapons and military uniforms (of any country), make them operate military equipment, etc.

The Star Wars saga made another comeback to the big screen, - this time as CGI animated science fiction film "The Clone Wars". The movie premiered last weekend and placed the third in box office receipts, losing only to "Tropic Thunder" and "The Dark Knight".
It is the first animated movie in the Star Wars series.
It is also the first Star Wars movie distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, instead of 20th Century Fox.
One of the script writers for "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" is Scott Murphy - the mastermind behind all the Space Quest games by Sierra Online.

Current news is being dominated by growing tensions from both sides on possible attack on Iran. After some political muscle play and failed negotiations to stop the Iran plutonium enrichment program, US and Israel are ready to attack Iran, while Russia warned it won't tolerate an attack on Iran. Iran fired 9 test missiles as a threat. It looks like Iran, U.S., Israel and Russia are ready to make war, not love.
Take any non-war movie and give it a war theme. Some examples are: give uniforms and weapons to movie characters and movie posters, add military units, nukes, explosions, destruction, smoke. These are just some ideas.

Legendary film director George Lucas is hiring writers for the Star Wars saga, which is set to continue in the form of TV series. Lucas has been hiring writers for this TV project since February 2006, and he is now getting some writers from outside of the US.
The filmmaker invited the writers to spend a week at his Skywalker Ranch in November, where they are going to finalize the story plot for the 13 episodes of the Star Wars TV show.
To celebrate the upcoming continuation of the legendary saga, put Star Wars characters (Darth Vader, Luke, Yoda, etc.) into the following works of art: paintings, drawings, sketches or statues.
Changing an original surrounding (e.g. background) of a painting (drawing, etc.) to a Star Wars theme is a plus. And last but not least... Use the force!

Read the above quote again. Read it twice if you have to. Now picture it being said by a film-school loser dropout. Because that's the kind of person that should be saying stuff like that, not a creator of the most beloved blockbusters of all times. Lucas wants to continue the Star Wars saga on television, and is working on a computer animated and a live action series both based in the sci-fi universe.
But something tells me that the low budget "Star Wars Action: Jedi Jedi Bang Bang" isn't going to be Lucas's greatest hit.
In this contest you are asked to create a low budget TV sequel/version of Star Wars (sitcom, series, shows, etc.), or include Star Wars characters into famous series/sitcom and change series/sitcom name accordingly.
