 Stone Head Against a Wall funny pictures - Source / Looks good. The color on the forehead is slightly different (grayer) than on the rest (of the face and bust) though. It's not only because of light reflections (in my humble opinion). This gray color is really nice and better (for my personal taste) than the color on the rest of the face in particular which looks a bit more (very slightly, again) blue-gray. The texture is a bit more stony there (on the forehead) too. Maybe should you try to clone a bit this kind of stony texture at least (partly) on the rest of the face too. Just a suggestion, of course... / . Nice constructive critique. Sadly, is too late to change things in this one. / A bit late, sure, but not too late as the voting has not ended yet. I, and probably many other members, have not voted yet (I'll wait a couple of hours more). Looking at my own stats in other contests (I haven't submitted anything for this one), I've noticed that many members with a high karma often rate entries near the end of the voting period. Anyway, it's already a very good work as it is. |

As I was working on a vintage pic of Garry cooper leaning against a wall, inspiration hit me. / Good one Hitman, I need to score these lower so I can move up the food chain, before we get to the soup kitchens. / Hey, what the heck.. Rant to follow I really should have posted Vlad's itty bitty source pic for you guys to awe over. I mean I took a fuzzy fragmented JPG and cleaned it up 700%. That's amazing and nobody "got that fact" out of all the photo experts here. Maybe I think it's way more cool than it is and it's elementary to the rest of you all but I worked my azz off to get it that clean. I'm pissed at the 5.8 because I would never give a 5 out to any of chop I saw with this much obvious work. The effort alone rates a 6 per the rules, D. I'm ticked off at the 5 voters, you know who you are. I didn't vote in this contest because of a gut feeling that this would happen. The voters split, almost half lost karma and that is just weird. There's too many really good chops at the back of the pack that got 5s as well. Personally, I think this was a miserable contest to judge so I didn't but commend those that took the leap of faith and did pretty good. cheers / I gave you a 6, you grumpy old man. Loved the freaky idea's in this, but i thought the bricks weren't really blending in and Gary looked kinda reddish and little things like that that prevented me to go to 7's or 8's. Now cheer up and smoke a cigar or something. / Okidoki Bwhahhahahahah. He is redish. I couldn't get rid of that red no matter what I tried. Puzzled the h--- out of me. It's one of those quirks in the program. I tell it one thing and it says no. 6 on this thing is fine, that is pronably what I would have given it or a low 7. 5s just tick me off. I can't think of any A+ class chopper around here that has chopped a 5 in years. If all we could produce was a 5, half of us would jump out the window hahahahaha Thanks for dropping by, cheers mate / No problemo. Black and whites don't work well for chops i quess. For atmospheric portrets it's great, but a chop needs color and high resolution. Funkwood was smart to pin it up a colorful background. I usually stay out of these kinds of contests. Cheers. You should do one of these in high resolution and color for the freakshow i think. Would tickle me. |
