Thanks I may just remove it, The more I blur it down the more it seems to look wrong . thanks for the tip though Thanks again , I found doing a 25% clone tool ovrlay of the shadow worked better, I like it more now hope you do to. |

Great work, I can appreciate the effort and time you've put into this. This is a great piece... for the trouble put into it i would suggest finilizing it by using the simple blur tool on the white street line edges and the edges of the black open archways around the far building, 1st and 2nd floors, i would also chose a different gradient for the persons clothing u can see shoulder and leg of in front of the lady in the Tan.. maybe a slightly darker tan.... and a super opacity dull skin colour to lighten the main wrist shadow to half way in... i know the original is like that but would just make it perfect on the eye for voters in the lower sized file size.... i wouldnt of critiqued so much if it wasnt a superb job, wd Great color work and a lot of detail, must have taken awhile. Took me awhile to check for bleed lines. I didn't find any I also love how you undertoned the contrast to keep the vintage feel. When I do color I like the contrast of the color to match the mood of the image. Well done here. I had a comment on my McCain Time Magazine entry that they thought it was just a photograph. I figure when going for realism,mostly perceived realism, you have to set your mood into the image. In the McCain case it was the early 70s which I remember from being there. The color of the world was different in the 70s. I think I did pretty good capturing that atmosphere. As you have done here. Kudos Good nostalgic feel, but it would be nice to have stronger colors |
