Hitting the big four zero today (29th April) is actress, sometime model and Tarantino muse Uma Thurman.
Thurman started modelling at the age of fifteen, before making her film debut, aged 18, in teen comedy Johnny Be Good. In the same year (1988), she appeared in another three films, including Dangerous Liaisons (her co-star John Malkovich would describe her as 'more than a little haunted') and Terry Gilliam's monster flop, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.
Later, Thurman has permanently ingrained herself in popular culture consciousness via roles in two Tarantino movies; firstly, as the femme fatale Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction, then as the bloodied bride Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill 1 & 2. It is for those performances with which she should be celebrated, with Tarantino himself stating that she is "up there with Garbo and Dietrich in goddess territory".

 Uma Thurman Fish Hybrid funny pictures - / VERY nice work. My only suggestion for this would be to use the warp tool to give those scales (especially on her face) some depth/curve / I agree with comment from midian. The fish in the mouth is a great touich too. |
