About 7 years ago I submitted a panel format chop similar to this and got about the same critique from Newsey. At the moment I was slightly insulted and left scratching my head. But he's right. In all the years of submissions that I have observed, nothing takes the cups like one brilliantly planned and executed chop that stands alone. It is good advice. Your stuff is plenty good enough without extras or distraction.
