This Saturday we have another freaking experiment. Many members who graduated from apprentice league told us that they miss contests where a source image is provided. So today we are going to do a similar contest as we do in our apprentice section and ask you to photoshop a provided source image. If we members like it we may make such contest a regular weekly contest.
Photoshop this soccer goalie image (CLICK HERE to download) any way you wish. Some examples are - giving this soccer goalie some new clothes or objects, putting the soccer goalie into some new environment, movies, paintings. These are just some ideas.

I use CS3 to edit... / Ok - I use Paint shop pro - so not familiar with your graphics program. The removal tools for jpeg and moire pattern artefact are in the "adjust" file for me. Should be something in the pictures "fixes" somewhere. / Filters --> Noise --> Reduce -Noise -The Reduce Noise dialog box apears. -Choose Basic or Advanced noise reduction options. -Select the Remove JPEG Artifact option. There's also lots of filters/plugins that clean up jpeg compression artifacts like Image Doctor. You can also convert to source image to lab color and gaussian blur the color layers about 2pxs and that will remove a lot of color noise.

I am still cracking up over this picture - love it. / Some shadows for the players in the back would help though. / Good work on masking the original legs. The shadows cast by the players in the foreground are good but the shadow cast by the referee appears a bit too sharp-edged and short. / You'll know if someone uses their hands...the ball will be flat.
