| Funny Slim, Skinny, and Anorexic pictures -
Major fashion house Ralph Lauren admitted Thursday to "poor photoshoppping" (used in a magazine advertisement) of a model Filippa Hamilton, that made her look anorexic, and caused a lot of criticism and mockery from the Internet blogsphere. In the disturbingly photoshopped ad, Filippa Hamilton's head looks wider than her waist.
Later on Thursday, Ralph Lauren issued an apology:
"We have learned that we are responsible for the poor imaging and retouching that resulted in a very distorted image of a woman's body." In an effort to look slim, many Hollywood celebrities are anorexic or suffered from anorexia in the past.
Anorexia is a condition when a slim person would try anything to become even slimmer. The opposite would be a fat person who would do nothing to become slimmer. They even have a name for it - Rosie O'Donnel.
Let us help prevent anorexia from spreading among celebrities and politicians, by showing them what they would look like if they were anorexic. Hopefully if they see these anorexic pictures of themselves they'll think twice before going anorexic.
