From his tempestuous love life to his famous temper and rumours of rampant professional perfectionism, Rose's time in the spotlight has been far from quiet, and even as he reaches the age of 50, it is doubtful the wild man of rock will be settling down with a pipe and slippers any time soon.  Flag Rose funny pictures - Stars and Stripes.. / Nice work. Maybe you should lower the opacity (or try a different Blend Mode) of the flag to get more texture of the flower. / I AGREE WITH V1nc3nt.But still nice idea. / You think like I do. But when I lowered the opacity on the stripes, it seemed too much like an overlayed object. I used the pen tool to draw out the stripes by hand, and then Hue/Sat tool to remove the Red and then upped the Contrast to add white color and still keep "some" part of the rose's surface texture. If you look toward the center you can see a little of the texture, but as you go out, the camera blur on the source image made realism a bit harder to acheive. Thanks for the critiqe, by the way. I want to push myself this summer. / I usually use Replace color for that. Look at the shoes I used for my entry. I changed from red to White in several steps, picking just a small range of the reds at the time. I like the Replace Color because it really preserves the textures. |

 FN Rose Parade Float funny pictures - The FN float would have been in the Tournament of Roses parade had the driver not made the wrong turn. / I wonder if the truck pulling it is NUMNUTS. / deaddog...of course, that's why it made the wrong turn. / kellie looks cool there .. i wonder who is that guy holding window .. / I think the guy holding onto the window ledge might either be salis or mundo...not sure. Kellie...bwahahahah. / I never thought I'd look good in coconuts. I like how you did the flower car - seems to be done from scratch. / Yes, it was, Newsy...all that "scratching" caused me welts. Started with one type of each flower - duped, added, merged, cloned,etc. Sorry...should have given you bigger coconuts. / Yep that's me... you got me P. I like to dangle my self every once and a while,, but not quite sure why ... mmmm / See, I knew it was you, salis. Dangling can be fun...at times. |
