Can you edit out the word "nazi", as any reference to Nazis is disallowed by FN rules. dont agree with the message .... extreme parody .. but i would say the execution is nicely done, very eye catching and there is a desperation about it . Nice composition.. It was modeled after a wartime poster in which enemy leaders were caricaturised as demons. The piece was intended to portray the animosity many "conservative" icons such as Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh have shown toward the Obama administration. It is purely satirical. The title was meant to indicate the extremes the Republicans might resort to in demeaning the policies of the President. "The gloves come off" is an expression used to denote the intent of a serious and vicious attack. I thought there might be some confusion with the title and the skeleton like hand which was not intended. Although the imagery made perfect sense to myself perhaps it doesn't to others. Maybe this is too "far out" there. Thanks for the comment. |
