 Big Ben at Night funny pictures - / I love the moody feel, there seems to be trees growing out of parliment roof though, and roof of a bus on middle right of pic.. some nice work here just the same / John the trees you see are cloud formations from the original weather and the bus is the corner of the building or a bus driving into the river Thames. Original picture was taken during the daylight. / Sorry John you were right about the trees. they were on the horizon and I didn't notice. The judge gave me a second chance how about you. / Perhaps the most artfully done piece in the contest I do believe. It has an extra something that is simply striking. Great job HH...

 Balloons Flying at Night funny pictures - / Funkwood sneaks into the apprentice area Very fine layering here. Masking is almost perfect. The axis of the star crazing varries which is a little distracting, and the overall opacity is too intense. Less is more with star or twinkle halos. And consider defining center of star emission brighter. I have not found decent star patterns in any of the photoshop programs I use so tend to build them from scratch and I know a lot of the other choppers do the same. Also little touches like that personalize the chop and allow us to break free of the standard photoshop look. Overall, other than the star issue, this chop rocks my world. It is pro in every other aspect. I tip my hat to you. / Thanks. I have cheap software...i do what i can. / That may be, but you have a great eye for composition. A canvas nor brush does anything by itself. / right on, that was a nice compliment.. awww. / why no star. I love that I got wood, but my goal usually is to atleast get a star... / Hitster comment. Excellent chop Kim. He's right about the stars though, they'd probably look better just as an assortment of pin pricks of light. Obviously some are not stars though, cause they're in front of foreground objects. I guess they might be fireflys, am I right. / just sparklies.... should of left them out. |
