 The Watchmaker with a Monkey funny pictures - Subtle characterization / The idea behind this chop is, everything is a delicate impression , from style to the actual characterizing of the figures. I thought this might be a welcome intelectual departure for those that appreciate that sometimes less is more. That's all, it is a bit obscure in that you have to study it to discover the intention behind it and of course we always wizz throught these things. They directly support the message of the chop and the chop is very good. But these things can always be better. I was pointing out that I saw gaps in the compositional arangement and you will see exactly what I mean if you read the technical reference. Using eye trail/path in compositional theory has been taught in the greatest schools of art for centuries.
