Clever idea. Humans are just evolved monkeys anyways Doxie I would love to change the labels, however I don't think I have had enough experience with photoshop to make one that would look half way decent. I know my limitations at this point. Imagine them as evolutionized monkeys. Okay, evolutionalized monkees they are. You still came up with a very clever idea. |

I wish the main sources were of sharper (or higher resolution) YEAH, it IS fuzzier than it should be...News. Thanks for the positive feedback, as well. of them all, this was my favourite. it was a FUN thing. Awww this is a great idea. Colors really snap. The comosition is very close to perfect. You might have gone a little heavy with the shading and the contrast/focus is a little fragged but other than that this is right up there. Your work is really coming along, Doxie. Move over boys, there's another new girl on the block oldman: THANKS for the comment. Since I don't have the skills of many of those here, I try to find a way to express humor. Hit: Thanks, too, for your suggestions. If I had your skills..... But..since I don't... In retrospect I should have cropped in a different monkey and a different Conan head that were sharp. Yeah Doxi, you could have done that, but it might have lost it's charm. : -->) As it stands, it's great. Or you could have resized it a little smaller but that is not the best solution. Try enlarging the source about 30% and RE-saving the picture at 800 dpi. Save that as a new file. At the larger size, bump up the contrast around 20%. Some program features also call that "Enhance" or "Sharpen". Then reduce back down to your working size. That might clear up a lot of fragmented pixelation. Maybe somebody else has a better solution that would like to jump in and commment on this. |

Hahhahahaa My main job is to keep a 5'1" little Viking lady happy. My other jobs are operating a construction company that has been reduced to straightening nails in this financial climate. So short of that, I bought a snow thrower and clear driveways this winter and take care of a lot of the elderly that get snowed in up here on the mountain. Since 1974 I have been a professional freelance artist-art director-teacher-adman and fine artist. And and from 74-94 was just about full time in the profession. Now I dabble and hope to ressurect that profession; we were steaming ahead with a digital art reproduction business then wall street decided to take all our investment money.... but not the dream. I am also a retired volunteer firefighter/medic of 20 years and some physical things kick in ocasionally that require I stay home and chop. There is the mini bio, what's your's.
