Funny Michelangelo Buonarroti 2013 pictures -
March 6, 2013 is the 538th birthday of one of the greatest artists of all times, Michelangelo Buonarroti. The second of five brothers, Michelangelo became a living legend of his time after he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel at the age of 33. Originally he did not want to accept the job as he always considered himself a sculptor, not a painter. However after Vatican used their ties to persuade Michelangelo through his relatives, he finally agreed to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel but only on the condition that he will do all the composition as he wishes without any interference from Vatican.
Three decades later Michelangelo was commissioned to paint the massive altar wall fresco - The Last Judgment - at the very same Sistine Chapel. Michelangelo dedicated his whole long life to art, God, and people. He once said to his apprentice: "However rich I may have been, I have always lived like a poor man."
Show how Michelangelo's masterpieces would change if he created them these days. E.g. show how Michelangelo would make a living nowadays by designing advertising for modern products and companies, include modern elements in his art works, etc.
