I like the presentation angle you've chosen. Michelangelo wearing the Nike's runner shoes.
So...what are the Rules on exposure. I thought we couldn't display female body parts so, what about Male. Just need to be reminded of the Rule. Anyone. By the way-Congratulations.
Geriatric: We do require to "cover the assets" if some celebrity head swap takes place. If an old artwork appears in mostly unchanged form (as here) it should be OK (though there may be some exceptions, depending on the specifics of particular artwork)
Thank you all so much. This was a total surprise. So many excellent chops to compete with. And with your help I finally, finally, finally broke into the 100 club. That has been a long time dream coming and I can not tell you folks how much I appreciate the support. ... OOOO
Congratulations on your 100th Gold, Hitspinner. A long time dream of mine is to win one gold
You are well on your way UC. It took me a good while before I grabbed a gold cup and I had been a professional artist since 1971. Once you break the ice it seems like the flow opens up. But Gawd, I do know the frustration. It just takes discipline and persistence at the craft I think
Congrats, HITSPINNER. Great Nike advertising.
Thanks for your words of wisdom HitMan, and again, congratulations on reaching your milestone of the 100 Club.
Congrats on the hundred gold trophies, Hits.
Congrats on gold Hitspinner. you did really good work on David's colors.

Funny Michelangelo 2019

Michelangelo 2019
March 6th is the birthday of Michelangelo born 1475 in Caprese near Arezzo, Tuscany. Michelangelo was without doubt one of the most inspirational and talented artists in modern history. He was the first artist who was recognized during his life time as the western world underwent what was perhaps the most remarkable period of change since the decline of the Roman Empire. He was one of the leading lights of the Italian Renaissance, he manage to combine his high level of technical competence and his rich artistic imagination to produce the perfect High-Renaissance blend of aesthetic harmony and anatomical accuracy in his works. The Renaissance saw changes in all aspects of life and culture, with dramatic reforms sweeping through the worlds of religion, politics, and scientific belief. Together with Leonardo Da Vinci, the two stood out as strong and mighty-personalities with two irreconcilably opposed attitudes to art , yet with a bond of deep understanding between them. Many thanks to groundzero for the themepost.  Show how Michelangelo's masterpieces would change if he created them these days. For a good source of his artworks, click Michelangelo Famous Works. Michelangelo Buonarroti 2014
March 6, 2014 is the 539th birthday of one of the greatest artists of all times, Michelangelo Buonarroti. The second of five brothers, Michelangelo became a living legend of his time after he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel at the age of 33. Originally he did not want to accept the job as he always considered himself a sculptor, not a painter. However after Vatican used their ties to persuade Michelangelo through his relatives, he finally agreed to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel but only on the condition that he will do all the composition as he wishes without any interference from Vatican. Three decades later Michelangelo was commissioned to paint the massive altar wall fresco - The Last Judgment - at the very same Sistine Chapel. Michelangelo dedicated his whole long life to art, God, and people. He once said to his apprentice: "However rich I may have been, I have always lived like a poor man." Show how Michelangelo's masterpieces would change if he created them these days. E.g. show how Michelangelo would make a living nowadays by designing advertising for modern products and companies, include modern elements in his art works, etc. Many thanks to Registered for the themepost.
