Very good choice of photo. Personally I would have liked the head to be in proportion. His neck needs to fit into his collar, rather than a slightly sharp edge at the back. However, it is still a lovely image. darn typo's
The head size is up to the artist and shouldn't affect the voting. The sharp edge on the neck needed doing. I think it is great.
Cool blending. The head shows spherical shadow around it somehow

Great use of colour and texture here. The poor Queen's look so tired and bleary. She looks as if she has a hangover . Well done.
Awesome choice of sources and blending. Congrats on top 5, Pix.

Good matching of colour and paint effect.
A small desaturation of her face could be nice.
I think desaturation would not get rid of the yellow tone. colour balance might be better don't you think.

I liked it more without Bill. I had already marked it before I saw it.
It made the point in a lovely subtle way with the cigar box
Still not sure about Billy. The p u s s y cat is sweet.

The guy on the right is a little bit orangy, he could do with a dash of magenta, just a tiny bit. It would have been nice if the musician's black hat showed up a tad more. Maybe it is my screen but I didn't notice the hat at first.
Thank you AzureSky but my theory was since he was supposed to be in the background there would be less light and intern darker and a different shade, You are right about the hat that's for sure. I will work on it :0)
Excellent choice of expression. People on the right doesn't add value.
Your adjustment gives a 3D effect. I expect the guy on the right is significant and adds to the humour.
Thank you Azure and everybody else for the kind comments. Azure that is James Taylor, The man that wrote and sang the song for Mr . Kerry
That is very clever Gary. I should have twigged.

Manet 2019
Wednesday, January 23, was the 187th birthday of Edouard Manet. He was a French modernist painter and one of the first 19th-century artists to paint modern life. Also a pivotal figure in the transition from Realism to Impressionism. Known as one of the most controversial artists in his time, Edouard Manet has risen above his detractors to prove his genuine talent that is worthy of emulation. Photoshop any painting by Edouard Manet to include some modern elements in it. Think of product placements, celebrities, modern architecture, and even sci-fi features, etc. and show how Manet paintings would be different if he painted them in the modern days. Note: If you use any of Manet's paintings with "bare subjects" (e.g. "The Luncheon on the Grass" or "Olympia"), please cover them up with bikini before submitting. This Friday, January 23, is the 183rd birthday of Edouard Manet. He originally wanted to join the French navy but failed the exams twice, and turned to art. So, in all honesty, we have to thank the French navy for giving the world the artist who became one of the founding fathers of impressionism and realism art movements. Manet trained in the studio of Thomas Couture - a hugely popular French history painter at the time. Before Manet developed his famous impressionist style, he spent two years in the Louvre where he trained and copied the old masters. Manet Modernized
This Monday the artistic world has celebrated the 180th birthday of Edouard Manet - the French artist who greatly contributed to impressionism and realism movement in art. Prior to becoming an artist, Manet twice failed the examination to join the navy, after which he decided to pursue a career in art, where his talents were quickly discovered. Manet studied under the academic painter Thomas Couture, a painter of large historical paintings. In his spare time he copied the old masters in the Louvre.
