 Obama Laughs at the American People funny pictures - The rumor mill has sprung and sources say that the reporters were prompted to laugh when he raised this question even though it was the most popular question of his so called "Town Hall Meeting". Instead of answering the question with the respect that the American people deserves , President Obama decided to laugh it off. For a man with the most serious job in the world, Barack Obama sure does giggle a lot. Perhaps he is saving all of the stash for himself. "Am I happy. Well, I don't know. I'm happy as the next man, I guess. I don't laugh all day long like an idiot, if that's what you mean." Wyatt Earp At least Bush laughed with us and not at us. "I inhaled frequently. That was the point." Barack the puppet Obama This not only angers me by the dismissal of the American voice by President Obama but by the ignorance in his answer. The "war" on Marijauna costs American taxpayers 78 billion dollars a year. That doesn't even include the cost of housing criminals of victimless crimes. If we were to turn it into an industry like tobacco and tax it accordingly we could net 180 Billion dollars a year in revenues. The President made a foul mistake in not only his ironic response to this question,but also in his misinformed, or simply ignorant, response to the American people. This makes him look very incompetent in my book. Democrat or Republican, do not be lied to. / could one assert that Hidden Author is not listed at FN as Democrat. ps. lots of us had to laugh at Bush... unfortunately. / you could assert that, yes.. narrows it down doesn't it. / I had, if you will pardon the pun, very high hopes for cannabis legalization by the Clinton administration. Didn't have any during the Bush years. But I really thought it might come to pass under this current regime - guess not. As one of the top picks for questions to ask him during this 'town hall' meeting, you might have thought he would, what. , maybe elaborate on the topic instead of just brushing it off with a handwave. Haven't toked up since '83 or '84 - sure might lighten the mood a bit if I took it up again, maybe in 2013. |
