They could have done wonders in the medical feild by making handicapped people walk talk and see, and even make Obama able to speak without a teleprompter I'm sure / What sets Apple apart from all other PCs is the fact that they design everything, the computer and the software. Thats why they operate so well. The reason that Microsoft became what it is was the complete blunder on the part of HP in the beginning too not putting an exclusivity clause in the contract with Microsoft for designing their operating platform. That is what spawned all the HP compatible computers that could run the same platform back in the 80s. Had Hp done that Microsoft would not be what it is today by any stretch. It was for HP one of the largest corporate mistakes in history. / Hidden: You got your facts wrong. It was IBM, not HP, that made the mistake regarding use of the Microsoft operating system. Also, I do not think Jobs would be so vindictive as you suggest in your image, although it is somewhat humorous. Many forget that Microsoft helped out Apple in 1997 when they were not doing so good by entering into a partnership with Apple that included development of Office and IE for the Mac, plus a substantial financial investment. / Freak your right. IBM was it............ oops. Your also right about the partnership. Microsoft certainly didn't have to develop programs for the Mac, thats for sure. Thanks for clearing that up. I wonder where we would be today had IBM restricted Microsoft. And no, Steve would not have blown up the Microsoft campus I just thought it was funny and not another angelic wings chop. |
