Sleepy dust in my eyes, I missed to finish the smoke layer - there has been a "corner" over the grasshopper's head & a decrease on the contrast there... After I fixed that - some hours before voting has ended - the votings were better - maybe a reason... maybe. But Bronze is also nice (and Salis' roster & Mark's dragon are two killer chops, arent't they). Goat, thanks for asking about a tutorial - I feel honored. I thought about it and would rather give some hints about the image formation than Photoshop techniques - what's more intresting for you. I think all the PS stuff that went into this image is already said by others in the tutorial section. And remember: English isn't my native language... / was my fave too...10 mate... so good...congrats.. |

 Dark Night? The Dark Knight! funny pictures - / I found this Image, Well. ...Like a Dark Night. A Very Dark Night. / I can't tell you ... If you knew. ... you would have to be killed. . / you have a neat image here. Problem = composition and the overall image as a story, be it humorous or a message or even just fantasy, the image should mould.... with photo"chopping" i always find myself reading and subscribing to Photography Magazines for what they are doing with compositions and subjects, then i look at AZRainmans images for examples of fantasy and beautiful colours using multi sources for stuff even as simple as clouds, you gots the skills, check out some photography sites on 3/1 and diferent compositions people seem to enjoy / I think that's a good idea... What's this 3/1. is that a site URL. / It would help if you balanced the contrast, saturation and color of your component images. For instance, the foreground is contrasty and saturated. The Joker is washed out and low contrast and Batman appears to be BW. Adjusting LEVELS, Brightness/Contrast and Saturation could help balance the images. / Rule of Thirds also known as the Golden Ratio, its a handy composition thing used to bring more interest into a photograph and one of those things not always needed by photochoppers, though handy to have in your chopping arsenal to bring a bit of pizazz to an overall chop / 3/1=3, Okay, now I know... The Rule of Thirds... The Golden Ratio... Okay. I'll definitely get back with that... Thanks, SidKain. |
