 Kevin Spacey Caveman funny pictures - It's so Freaking easy to win an Oscar.. even a Kevin Spacey Caveman can do it. / Scoring very low so far and I am seriously confused by that Anybody..... / Well... perhaps some words to the technique: It seems you sharpened the whole picture. Ok for main interest (Kevin), too much for the background - the contrast is too high in my opinion. You combined (at least) two sources with different light (image of the body was made with flashlight, the cave image was made at natural light); difficult to fix and hard to combine that the result looks natural. And the shadow of Spacey Caveman on the left, below the Oscar.... / Thank you very much TiredTom. I can see eveything that you say now. I am still pretty new to this stuff and I'm not able to see problems like that alot yet. I seriously value any opinions, and I try to give them alot too. It just bothers me awful when my pics score lower than I had hoped without any input to why. I really want to get much, much better at this. So once again, thank you very much. / p.s. I edited it a bit, but was kinda rushed. Just didnt have time to research a better background. Here is a link to the original image before edit for anyone else. And what you said... well, we all were new to the stuff some time ago - and thankful for any critique we got on our early works. But this is how we learned the stuff... ambition, comparison with other images and lots of Photoshop practice Good idea though, I like the message of your entry. / Don’t sweat it. The early votes seem to expose some super critical voters but it ain’t over ‘til it’s over. If it’s any consolation, I’m tanking thus far too. Yep, I agree with Tom. Heavy on the HighPass and contrast. But I see where you are aiming. You just went past center and needed to make the shadows agree and not so saturated. We live and learn. I had the opposite problem initially, not enough contrast / Overshot the mark I guess. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate you higher ( or extremely high ranked ) members advice. By the way, I think KPAXMAN rocked. / I like this overall. Would give him more neck though.
