 Elena Kagan Toy Judge funny pictures - See large / Lots of work here. Love how you made her into a robot holding a court hammer. background music... "I've got the power." The face lost some resemblance in the transformation though / Yep, lost a little resemblance, but there isn't a single characterization entered in this contest that isn't pretty far off the mark. I think it's partly because she is such an unfamiliar face that I'm not tuned into the little neuances of her mannerisms and features. I did several comparrisons to other references as I went along and it seemed like I stayed in the ball park. Also, it's not a robot though I thought so too at first. It's a little cast metal figurine of the Judge Dredd character. I was amused so went with it for the chop. Thanks for the comment Vlad. / great chop, i think her main characature points would be eyes close together and big round cheeks towards the lower chin area... i completely forgot about judge dredd, i wonder if theres many quality stills out there. / She, almost, looks user-friendly in your version; nice work. / Thanks for the comments. Allow me to elaborate on my earlier comment before I am berated and beaten to a bloody mass. I did not say anyone's chop was bad, I just said the characterizations were off the mark in my opinion and that is solely based on the simple fact that her face is not familiar enough to me. The idea I have in my mind of what she looks like was mostly based on the one pic I chopped and was familiar with and nobody seemed to get close to that. Especially me. Frankly, to my eye the obvious contender chops seemed over bloated or too exaggerated. Again, my opinion, not intended as castigation or damnation, and certainly not the word of God. I took wider liberties with the characterization. Sometimes that works out, sometimes it doesn't. Newsy rightly pointed out that I missed in his opinion and I rightly pointed out that I thought everyone did, however I stand corrected. IMO the less is more approach that Ismael took was the best way to characterize her. He stayed on the money, was his chop the most entertaining. No, Not in my opinion. RW I believe has that honor Rainman running a very close second. Do I think either of those three deserves the top cup. Nope I don't. I think Renegade delivered this time with the perfect chop, charming, simple, cleanly and concisely delivered without any extraneous pretense of factor, eye candy or any jazzz. Again, this is my opinion, my comment section and ... well there you go. Sorry for the earlier drama. |
