Davy Jones, an actor-turned-singer who helped propel the TV rock band The Monkees to the top of the pop charts and into rock 'n' roll history, died of a heart attack Wednesday in Florida. He was 66.
The Monkees, often described as the first manufactured pop band, were brought together for a US TV series in 1966 and were marketed as the American answer to The Beatles.
The TV show was popular in both the US and the UK, and the band had four number one albums in America within a 13-month period - as well as nine top 20 hits, including I'm a Believer and Daydream Believer - on which Jones sang lead vocals. His talent will be much missed.

| Funny Tommy Lee Jones pictures - An eighth-generation Texan, Harvard graduate, ex-football star, and widely respected actor Tommy Lee Jones is turning 65 this Thursday. While at Harvard, Jones roomed with former Vice President Al Gore, and was a valued member of the Harvard football team. The young athlete was a starting offensive guard, and played in the famous Harvard-Yale tie of 1968. He graduated cum laude with a degree in English in 1969.
Jones' notable film roles include federal marshal Samuel Gerard in The Fugitive and its sequel U.S. Marshals, the villain "Two-Face" in Batman Forever, terrorist William Strannix in Under Siege, Agent K in the Men in Black films, former Texas Ranger Woodrow F. Call in Lonesome Dove, and Ed Tom Bell in No Country for Old Men. He took an acting class, so we can say he's a natural born actor.

This Friday at their joint birthday, Catherine Zeta-Jones turned 40 and Michael Douglas became a senior citizen at 65. As the couple were leaving their apartment block for the birthday celebration, they gave short remarks to the paparazzi. Michael said, "I feel great at 65." Catherine added, "I feel much younger than I am. When you are 10 or 20, 40 looks really old. When I was nearing 30 that seemed like a major milestone."
The star couple married on November 18, 2000. They have 2 children.

Latest "Indiana Jones" movie hits the US screens this Thursday (the full title is "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"). Movie critics say the latest installment is more ridiculous than thrilling, where 65-year old Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) survives an atomic explosion by hiding in a refrigerator. Yet critics have not always been nice to Jones films, but public loves them. Older Ford does not to play a 30 year old hunk, yet he still kicks serious ass. The film is another quality work from Steven Spielberg, with lots of special effects and an entertaining plot.
Photoshop anything related to Indiana Jones movie or character. Some examples are: making the movie sequels of changing the movie cast, merging any Indiana Jones movie with other movies; putting Indiana Jones into paintings, making him endorse products, etc.
