Los Angeles woke up to a big surprise today - unidentified groups of people have posted a massive number of posters on LA streets featuring President Barack Obama as Heath Ledger's "Joker" character from the Dark Knight.
The caption under the posters says "Socialist".
The authors and distributors of the poster are not known, but rumor has it these posters will soon appear in other cities across the USA. Obama Joker posters have outraged many Obama supporters, who demand the destruction of all posters, as well as prosecution of the people who create and distribute these posters.
Supposedly the posters are made by the groups of people who are angry with the President and his latest universal health care plan.

In particular, would suggest you make the hair color saturation more intense and the red in the background lettering. The Harry Potter entry proves more intense color is good in this contest. I'm not that happy with your entry in a political sense (I am pro-Hillary) but you picked the perfect head image of her to use here, and overall the entry is ... well, good. Amusing to look at and easily hits the funny bone. Good blending. EDIT: Full view is good.... with more color saturation it would be great. / This is beyond belief. It's hysterical and brilliantly done. / Me thinks more saturation would ruin the entry photo-realistic look and would make it look more like an art poster.  Harry Potter as the Joker funny pictures - / This is one heck of a good entry.A Big 10. / love how you made his skin look porcelain. / Nice difusion, You got a retro airbrush thing going on that I like. / nice chop. Difficult image to start with, with the shallow depth of field on the center of the face. I think the overall hue shift of the clothing is your strong point. My only suggestions would be to add some variance to the whites and blacks of the makeup. The edges around the mouth look a tad soft and the overall whitening of the face feels a bit muddy sort of airbrushed. Heath Ledger's makeup was rubbed off at parts, dirty and runny. Perhaps masking a bit of Harry's un-retouched face back through would really help to bring it home. Lastly I think the image is a tad over-saturated in the added colors of the makeup and clothing hue shift. If it was slightly desaturated I think it would help make it feel more realistic, less retouched. Just some thoughts. / Previous comments made by Hackofalltrades are interesting and judicious for the most part, but I still really like your work as it is and I believe that you're entitled to proudly assume your aesthetic choices (color saturation, etc.) in this great chop. |
