| Funny Animal Halloween Costumes pictures -
A yearly Halloween pet costume contest was held this week
in Florida. The contest was organized by Pet Nation store and selected
the winners in nine different categories from 127 dressed pets.
This reminds me the Halloween pet costume contest we had last year in
my neighborhood. My dog participated - she had no clothes on, but in
her mouth carried a tape of her "going at it" with another dog - she
came as Paris Hilton. The Best Halloween Pet Costume award, however
went to the neighbors' dog - she puked out her food all evening and
looked skinny as hell - she came as anorexic Nicole Richie. And what
about my parrot, you ask? My parrot came as a firecracker, but didn't
win any awards because nobody likes a farting parrot.
In this contest you are asked to dress up animals for Halloween. Any
animals are allowed, not just pets. Halloween makeup on animals is a
plus.

[ Halloween is upon us again. ] We all love to decorate our houses for every child's favorite holiday, Halloween. Children love all the free goodies they get by banging on the neighborhood doors and begging for treats. Candy manufacturers and dentists also love this holiday. So let's show our holiday spirit by making some holiday images for the child in us all. Remember kids, stay off midian's lawn. He has a new firehose and is itching to try it out. This bonus contest will run from noon Oct.31 to 6am Nov.2nd.
In this contest you are asked to photoshop anything related to Halloween. Any Halloween theme at all - e.g. Halloween pumpkins used in unusual ways, new product ads based on horror or Halloween related movies, create scary celebrities or politicians, etc. If it's Halloween, it's good.

Halloween is just around the corner. In the Unites States, Halloween is the second most celebrated holiday after Christmas. The Ancient Gaels, who gave the origin to this holiday, believed that on October 31 the world of the living and the dead overlapped, and the spirits of the dead would come back, sometimes causing chaos and fear. Halloween masks and costumes were traditionally used to mimic the evil spirits and placate them.
Photoshop anything related to Halloween. Some examples are: giving some old paintings a Halloween theme; dressing up politicians, celebrities, or animals for Halloween; turning some movies into Halloween theme movies; photoshopping jack-o'-lantern, etc.

As Halloween is getting closer, movie theaters are offering little horror this weekend. Movie companies blame low consumer spending power and general decline in demand for horror movies. Looks like Hollywood needs to ask Fed for a special Halloween bail out.
To compensate for a lack of good horror movies this Halloween season, take any movie and give it a Halloween theme.

| Funny Vermeer Halloween pictures - Halloween day, October 31, is also the birthday of Jan Vermeer - one of the greatest artists of the Dutch Golden Age - the author of "Girl with a Pearl Earring", "Milkmaid", "A Lady Writing a Letter", "The Astronomer", and numerous paintings of domestic ordinary life.
Sadly, great fame came to Vermeer's paintings long after his death. In his lifetime Vermeer was neither particularly famous nor wealthy. He died in debts.

The Annual Pet National Halloween Pet Costume will be held this Saturday in Navarre, Florida (starting at at 2 p.m. at Pet Nation, 1890 Andorra St.). The event typically includes more than 150 pets in categories encompassing every kind of pet, reptiles, birds, rabbits, ferrets, and exotic pets.
In this contest you are asked to dress up animals for Halloween. Any animals are allowed (except humans), not just pets. Halloween makeup on animals is a
plus.
