 GOING DOWN funny pictures - the ambassador class starship was originally designed by a gentleman by the name of Andrew Probert, which has been beautifully rendered in 3-d by Tobias Richter. The birds of prey come from a wallpaper of star trek online. The only problem I had was trying to cut the torpedoes from the wallpaper...I either had torpedoes with background still in it, or I didnt feather enough...after much cursing and persistance I finally got it. Now I guess all I can do is prey to the freaking news gods that this will do well.And lastly just for all you star trek fans out there this design was going to be the initial one for the series the next generation. I think we can all see which design they went with. / When I was a kid, sci-fi books with such pictures were a thrill to me. Still looks impressive to me these days - quality stuff. |
