 Football Player with Eagles funny pictures - Vick is back.HIDE YOUR ANIMALS........ / This turned out blurrier than i wanted,but i feel very passionataly about this.I was very irate to see that the Philedelphia Eagles hired this man.I believe in second chances.But i dont believe ,a man who admitted to personally torturing and executing dogs(in a barbaric and heinous way) should be rewarded with a multi-million dollar NFL contract.The whole thing is repulsive. / Talent allows for more error. Just like being rich allows for more error than poor people can get. It sux. but that is the way it is. But..... GO EAGLES. / the creep should have received at least three months per dog. As far as I'm concerned teh Eagles suck. you got a mid range just cause he's a punk. / Toledoeagle, If you consider what this man did as just being an error,thats where we disagree.Vick stepped over a line, that no human should have ever crossed.I like football too,but i am not willing to sell my soul to the devil,to win.Rich and poor has nothing to do with this argument.Neither should talent.If vick had molested a child,but did his time.Would you still be talking about second chances,and welcoming him on to your team.You know the moral equivalence between the two is reasonable.It is violating the innocent,those who cant defend themselves.Is this the message we want to be sending to kids.Look past an atrocity because of greed,money and football prestige.Winning is great,but not when you have to sink so far down in the depths of depravity to achieve it. / I so agree with you renegade.I am glad you share my anger.This whole thing makes me want to puke, / I don't approve of it in the slightest. But money buys things it shouldn't and so does talent. Unfair as that is, Tis the way of the world. I think that dog fighting, hanging dogs, torturing them is disgusting. Pure foul behavior that is not acceptable. On the other hand killing a man while drinking and driving only warrants a few days in jail and a 1 year suspension. Plenty of athletes have done far worse and got off without nearly half as much repercussion as Vick. This whole subject makes me mad in several ways. 1 Animal abuse for any reason is horrible. 2 That even though he did 2 years in jail for it, on top of losing over 100 million dollars over the deal,and his reputation lost forever. This society still assumes he got off easy for the crime when unknown dogfighters walk on all counts all the time 3. But worst of all... That Murders, rapists and people who commit far more evil crimes get even less than Vick and the public doesnt rush to the fight as fast if even at all. That people react harder about an animal than they do a human. If Vick is truly sorry, then he has paid enough. If not, it won't be long until my brothers of Philly tear him to shreds,,, maybe literally. Sorry to ramble.... Just get going ya know. Renegade Do the Eagles suck due to who you like. Or suck because they signed one of tons of felons playing pro ball. Betcha Stahlworth gets a contract next year too and betcha no one is near as worked up as they are about Vick
